I like it even more than I thought i would . Its very sturdy and really looks nice . Assembly wasn't too difficult if you are a bit handy . I would say 3 people could probably do it in a day . I got mine in the winter and was able to do some of the assembly in the basement prior to actually setting it up , so that helped . I assembled the cross beams and the main roof beam before set up and two of us were able to assemble the whole thing in a day. I did get two wrong parts and had to contact sun joy . You are probably not going to speak to anyone on the phone and its not 24 / 7 customer service , but the were very responsive through email and sent the correct parts out in about 10 days , so i was happy with that . Over all I am very satisfied with the purchase and would reccomend . ... show more

The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 stars is because it needs a bit of tweaking, however it’s not a big deal. The metal roof needs to be altered so that it doesn’t come loose and have all the issue some have had. All you have to do is buy at your local hardware store metal roof screws and as you install each panel run some screw into the metal frame below. We have had to storm come through my area with 60mph winds and everything stayed in place. The instructions are easy to follow and all the hardware is labeled. Love the gazebo. ... show more

This was a no-brainer for $1900. All other permanent options were well above $7500. Thing is sturdy and looks great. Customized a little and added some gutters since one of the sides is right up against my back screen door. Super flimsy structure with hallow posts, minimal hardware to connect the roof. Our entire roof blew off during a storm and we had to reattach it with proper roofing nails. The roof is now all dented and is incredibly cheaply made, not like normal metal roofing.

Putting this up did take quite a bit of time. There was mostly two people working on assembly, but up to four at times. It took about 10-12 hours for assembly, but part of that was due to starting and stopping the project across multiple days. We did also need to get different screws to secure it to our cement patio, but we have already had a crazy wind and thunderstorm that it didn't even budge during! We bought an indoor/outdoor chandelier to hang from the middle and have already enjoyed smores in our firetable under it. Definitely a great purchase! ... show more

Not understanding why the product description says it can withstand strong winds and inclement weather. However, the booklet that comes with the kit says it's for shade and rain only. We had to purchase stronger brackets to add for extra support. We didn't trust the durability.

Bought this 7/2023 and finally finished it. Definitely read the reviews. It influenced our purchase. We opted to reinforce the roof panels with specific roof screws and are not disappointed. We decided to take precautionary measures because we live in a windy area and some of the complaints in the reviews dealt with wind. Also, the price shown right now for this product at $1600ish is less than what we paid for it. I would grab it up at that price. Totally worth it. ... show more
