So this product is really really awesome. A little goes a long way - it spreads nicely. I used clean fingers on clean skin. It covers incredibly well. I blended it as much as I could without irritating my skin. I did buy the anti-redness and was concerned because my skin is very very light. Fitzpatrick 1 or 2. Well this went on so nicely and isn't cakey or heavy BUT it was too orange on me. I'm leaving it on for the day because washing off now would just irritate my skin but I probably won't use it again. I do love everything else about it just too dark for us light skinned folks. If you are pale have lighter hair blue eyes etc this will probably be too dark for you. And that's okay - we just need something else. Because I loved the way this went on (unsure if will cause breakout) ((I hope not.)) I immediately went back to Amazon and ordered their "Fair" tube - I hope that will be better. For the record - I bought this to combat my sometimes red nose & cheeks..I used to suffer from rosacea horribly but have since learned how to repair my skin barrier and my skin is so much better. It does cover redness and actually has a good coverage like foundation that I don't even need. So, give this a try if you lean towards a morw medium to darker skin tone. It's really awesome especially considering the price. So far my skin does not appear to be oily or anything negative to report but to be fair I've had it on for half an hour. I had to come review it right away based on my 1st impression. Great product though just not right for me! I gave 4 stars just because it's too dark/orange. ... show more

You dont need alot I use about a dimension sized dot , dip my foundation brush in it and it covers my entire face and it looks perfect combine it with a holding spray then blend some more it stays all day . I'll never use another foundation again.

It's a little too dark/orangey for me, not what I was expecting. It's like one of those foundations that starts off white and then as you rub it in it's supposed to match your skin tone, only it starts green and then as you rub it in it turns into this orangey foundation color... I would rather just use foundation, I don't really understand the point of it being green to start when it doesn't stay green to neutralize the red it just turns into a foundation color? ... show more

I don't wear much makeup but do like BB Cream to cover a few uneven skin tones. Another brand I used prior was no longer available so tried this brand. Was amazed at the light color that came out of the tube and how it turned to the right medium skin tone after applying it. The "green" redness-canceling part of this product is a scam. It's similar to how the Almay Smart Shade foundation claims to "match" your skin tone as you blend it in, but in reality it will always blend out to the same color -- the "it magically adjusts to my skin color!" gimmick is just an illusion because of the way the color comes out white at first. On this bb cream, it says as much on the tube: "transforms to universal shade." (I don't know about you, but what I swatched is nowhere near universal.) The comparison of this product to the Dr. Jart cica repair cream is grossly inaccurate, as the Dr. Jart cream actually leaves green pigment on the skin to cancel out red tones. This, on the other hand, comes out green but will *always* blend out to the same (very) yellow color. If you have warm-toned medium skin, I can see how this would work for you as a normal foundation shade, but I am pale and cool-toned with pink undertones (my Estee Lauder doublewear shade is Shell). I thought this would help with some redness on my face, but my skin tone is much lighter and nowhere near this yellow shade. In short, I'm not saying this won't work for you, but keep this in mind: it's not actually canceling out redness with a green pigment, and the "universal shade" it blends out to will likely work only for warm-toned folks. ... show more
