    • Battery not holding a charge
***UPDATE*** I reached out to tonie support and was given a code for a brand new box to use on the tonie website! The new tonie box I received works wonderfully, holds a charge and works disconnected from the charger! Changing from a 1 star to a 5 star review. I also was able to keep the other tonie box so now I have two. I have been highly disappointed with this product this was one of our big Christmas gifts and it will not work unless connected to the charger. I have tried charging it the recommended 48 hours and nothing. I have looked up the verything online and tried to fixes at home and nothing. I have contacted product support and currently waiting for a reply to see how we move on from here. So discouraging as we were so excited for this present. It works wonderful on the charger but unfortunately that’s just not feasible when we bought this for on the go to limit screen times. Will update my review when and if the problem is resolved ... show more

This is the second Tonie I’ve purchased, both as gifts to my granddaughters. Children love it because they are finally in control of something. Typically you don’t let your young children use the TV remote because either they will break it or lose it. With the Tonie the child gets to pick the music characters and the songs they play. This is going to be a lengthy review but I feel that it is necessary to share the full experience. I purchased this on Black Friday for my daughter for Christmas. I ordered the pink one (this is important to remember for later). It arrived and I put it away with the other gifts for Christmas. Fast forward a month and I am going to wrap presents and thought to myself I should set this up ahead of time. I spent SIX hours trying to get this damn thing to connect to the internet. Most people would have given up but I was determined since it was the night before Christmas. I run multiple wifi signals in my house and I am aware that it needs to connect to the 2.4 not the 5. Despite sitting NEXT to the router I could not get it to connect I tried EVERYTHING. I got every single error possible. I even tried using my cell phone mobile hotspot, I tried connecting it via my computer. NOTHING WORKED. So I ended up having to send it back and my daughter opened the characters with no tonie box to go with them! The new one arrives after Christmas at this point and it is PURPLE. Not pink. Fine whatever, I attempt to see if I can get it to connect. In my mind I'm like if it connects maybe she can overlook the color. Which it does! It took about 30-60 minutes and had to use my phones mobile hotspot but I got it. So I asked my daughter if she cared if it was purple. She was not enthused but happy she could use it. Now here we are a month past and this thing is just garbage. I have had to "fix" it and basically reset it more times than I would like to admit she cant even use it and now here I am at 10:56AM finally at my ends wit returning all of it and my daughter is upset that I can't fix it this time. I have tried to reset it and reconnect it. It has the greenlight, when you place a figure on it nothing happens. I am just done with it. I wanted this to work and I wanted to love it. I loved the whole idea of it but I don't love that she can't use it. ... show more

I got the Tonie Box in hope it would help my daughter go to sleep easier at night. I got the lullaby lamb Tonie to go with it. When it’s time for bed, I tell her to but her lamb Tonie on and crawl into bed and she does it right away. She goes to sleep so much faster! And she loves the other Tonies I’ve purchased so far!
