We absolutely love our new outdoor fireplace. It comes with the ash tray and grate to hold the logs. We were going to pay 5k to have the patio guy build one on the wall, instead we decided to give this one a try and save 3k. It has met all our expectations and has been used daily since it arrived. It is very heavy so you will need someone to help you lift it to set it up. Easy to set up and very solid. Looking forward to enjoying many ourdoor fires with our family & friends. One thing to note though... don't store wood underneath the fire area, only store it on the sides. The ash tray dropped some lit ashes onto Logs below and they caught fire. This was a huge item delivered by common carrier. Delivery driver was courteous and brought it into the garage. It went together with ease and with the help of another, it was carried and placed on the pad we built in the yard. I would stay away from this fireplace. Mine arrived scratched, with a small crack, and missing the door hook. Upon filing a warranty claim with Sunjoy I have not heard back from them in over 2 weeks. The first fire we had was very nice, until the logs stored under the unit started to smolder and burn. Luckily we were paying close attention and avoided the disaster that could have been. Amazon has graciously agreed to return the item even though I was a few days past my return date. Just 1 day after setup the table tops that were scratched during shipping has started to rust without any precipitation. I would not purchase this product as I don't think it is safe or that the life expectancy of the unit is worth the price; not to mention Sunjoy will not be there when a problem arises. I ordered the Sunjoy Atticus Wood Burning Fireplace and was a little hesitant purchasing such a large item via Amazon sight unseen but couldn't be happier with my purchase. It really does look better in person than in the pictures. It is very classy. After seeing outdoor fireplaces at landscaping centers and their cost of at least 2x this product this seems like a good value. The product should hold up for many years as it is built very well. It arrived very well packaged and protected ... I mean really well packaged! The assembly is very straight forward as there are very few actual parts to this product. There are only 6 steps and if you can turn a screwdriver then you can assemble this. I would highly recommend having another able bodied adult to move it to its final destination as it is heavy. I look forward to using this quite a bit! ... show more
