We should have heeded the warning from the previous reviewer. After spending over $700 for an electrician to install this on our porch, we are blinded by the red light. Yes, it is warm (particularly when there is not wind), but it turns our porch bright red. I'll add some photos when I get a chance. Since it took so long for us to install it, we are beyond the return window. So now we are looking for some type shade that might decrease the red light while still allow for some warmth to transmit.     • This heater produces way too much light to be useful outside.
It is sold as an infrared heater, but it is so bright I could not use it outside. It It is sold as an infrared heater, but it is so bright I could not use it outside.     • This product gives off great heat, but man is it bright
This product gives off great heat, but man is it bright! I ended up returning it as people had to wear a hat or cover the top of their eyes with their hands to look at the person sitting on the other end of the table. The whole patio became red and bright.
