We wanted to replace these builder grade blinds that came on our back door. These are made of good quality and good packaging. Super easy to install and come with instructions if you need them. If you have never used zebra shades, you might be surprised it will take you 10+ somewhat noisy pulls at the chain to get these shades all the way up/down. However the zebra mesh adjustment for filtered sun is effortless. I bought 6 of these (6 ft tall windows) , so it's a bit of a workout for my old flabby arms, which is fine.. The white is almost pure white. They look great with great quality at a good price, so I'm not complaining! Make sure you dry fit and practice before install. ... show more

I like them. You can see a shadow if someone on the other side, but it’s difficult for them to see in. My bestie and me tested. Installation was okay. I don’t think it is was easy or difficult but somewhere in between. It did take an hour.

    • Really annoying to install, but beautiful when done
Installing these zebra blinds proved to be more challenging than expected, and the process left me a bit frustrated. While the concept seemed straightforward, the upper bracket that attaches to the blinds constantly shifted around, making the installation cumbersome. Although the upper brackets didn't demand precision, I wished for a more stable system to attach them to each other, simplifying the overall process. On a positive note, I appreciated that these blinds aren't blackout, allowing a pleasant infusion of sunlight while maintaining some level of privacy. The value for the money is evident, considering their light-filtering properties and overall functionality. Despite the installation hiccups, the benefits outweigh the inconvenience, especially if you can install them at eye level for a smoother process.
