This product could’ve easily been twice the price so if you can find one under $60, you make sure you grab it. just make sure you’re gentle with it because it is a sensitive product and if you bend any of the coils for heating, then your blanket is done for.

    • Well I did love it while it worked
I loved this blanket almost obsessively and used it almost every night of cool weather until it just totally stopped heating up at all about 8 months into use. I tried every way to trouble shoot it. The blanket was used on my bed, carefully plugged in with the cord running under the bed, so not stressed in anyway. I tried resetting it, unplugging and replugging the cord at the blanket and multiple outlets. It says it’s heating up but never actually does. I got the blanket in April of 2022, but mid December 2022 it stopped working. Four of those months were warm weather so, I really only got about four months of use out of it. It was supposed to be warranteed, I contacted the seller and was told I was eligible for replacement, then given the run around for months saying that the warehouses needed to be checked for stock. Eventually I was told there wasn’t any in stock but that I would receive a refund instead. That was a month ago. I’ve been navigating a family death and some ongoing health issues myself so I only just circled back to my messages. No refund was ever issued and clearly the product is in stock since I can order a brand new one right now from the same seller…. Soooo…. Yeah… eff that. Super disappointed. I really loved this blanket and it was a major part of my self care and pain management. I reccomended it to a lot of others. Widly disappointed right now. ... show more

    • Sunbeam blanket heats well!
This electric blanket gets really warm if you want it to. It can be controlled through the Sunbeam app to preheat each side independently and to heat for specific times independently as well. The material is a very cozy plush fabric. We really love it.

    • Missed the mark
Having smart home for the last 7 year, I was so happy to see this item. Not so smart after all. If you set a schedule or turn it on with the app, you still have to press a button on the controller within 1 hr or it turns off. Must be on same WiFi to control it. About 4-6 inches down the center of the blanket is not heated. Controller only goes to 10. So it’s not as hot as those that go to 20. You can’t set a time to turn off. You must set a start time and how long to run. I have connected it to my Alexa. Got this the first week of January. ... show more

    • Stopped working within 6 months
This is not the exact model I bought on Amazon (mine was a full-size single temp controller model), but is essentially the same. My blanket stopped working after six months. Customer service responded quickly and asked for additional information and pics. I sent to them what they asked, but for a month, they've gone silent.     • This might help to setup on App link to WIFI that processes faster at 5 GHz
To link to WIFI that processes faster at 5 GHz. On Phone or Tablet where you have App installed. I had to do this to any of my smart universal bulbs or sockets etc. I found that Do Not connect from drop menu and select WIFI . Instead go to settings WIFI and select WIFI. Your WIFI will pop up twice one will say 5G select other one that is yours. That should be I think 2.4 GHz lower than 5GHz. The app should see the blanket now and it will complete setup. Now that it is set up you switch your WIFI back to 5G and will be able to use App with the blanket from then on. Only have to do this to pair the App to the blanket. Hope this helps . I ran across your review looking for one , and I remembered when I tried my first smart lightbulb and guy on the YouTube video said go outside with extension cord with lamp and walk till out of WIFI distance and disconnects. and then step back in WIFI is now 2.4 GHz. This worked for me not to do what he said. I'm 59 years old I'm still learning . Again Hope This Helps ... show more

    • Run away fast
They have taken the ones that I purchased off of Amazon but theses are the same. They are great when they work, but they don't work very long. I purchased two several years apart and the claim to have a five year warranty. I filed a claim on the Sunbeam website which was answered by a total different company. I sent them the information that they requested and never got another reply. I started to investigate who I could talk with at Sunbeam just to find out the Sunbeam was purchased several years ago the the Jarden Corporation that doesn't care. Run=Run=Run ... show more
