I’ve been using this machine since September 2023; the simplicity and quality of this mower cannot be overstated. Ease of Assembly: The mower comes 90% assembled; I let my neighbor friend put it together because she asked to and it took her maybe 25 minutes. I lifted it out of the box for her; it’s super lightweight but WELL constructed. I have an extremely uneven and bumpy yard and I walk briskly. It has handled the “abuse” and it looks brand new. Lightweight: The same neighbor borrowed it and she was surprised how light and maneuverable the mower is, but it is not at all flimsy. She weighs maybe 115lbs soaking wet and no upper body strength (not a slam on her, just providing for and idea how lightweight this thing is) Charges Quickly: From zero charge to full charge in less than 1 hour. Charge Duration/Life: I have consistently experienced a 45-minute duration. Curiously, this machine just shuts down when the battery is depleted. There is not a gradual loss of power; I assume this is built into the battery circuitry. Surprisingly Powerful: I cut my WET grass which was over 6” tall as seen in the picture. It buzzes through it like hot butter. I was NOT mulching; throwing to the side outwards and had ZERO issues. The mower does not bog down rather it appears to / sounds like it powers up when resistance is encountered. This did seem to affect the battery duration by about 15%. I can usually finish my entire yard on a single charge, but it stopped about 7-8 minutes early. I put hot batteries on the charger, and they were 100% in less than an hour. (I cut wet grass in between Florida downpours, and it’s been two weeks and crazy tall.) Surprisingly Quiet: This thing is quieter than a hair dryer. It makes a low hum, and you can hear ambient noises, no problem. You can cut your grass at 8a.m. on a Sunday (as I did today) and not wake the neighbors. I asked if they heard anything when they were leaving for church, and they said they wondered WHEN I cut my grass because the woke to my fresh cut lawn! It’s quieter than my cordless weed trimmer too (B&D). Stink Free: With the absence of gas and oil, there is NO smell when you store this mower indoors. You also do not smell like cut grass and gas/smoke when you are done mowing. I just blow this thing off with my leaf blower and occasionally wipe it down and it looks like the day I purchased it. In Sum: Negatives = Zero. Nice to Have: A battery life meter on the handle OR a large display on the battery compartment would be the ONLY thing additional that I would engineer into this mower to make it perfect. There IS a small LED life meter on each battery, but you must stop the mower, open the battery cover and squeeze a button to see how much charge is remaining. Big whoop, but the “cool factor” would be a selling point. Note: I purchased the 21" for $257 less than a year ago. It now sells for $380. 48% increase! The media could not be loaded. 6/28/2021 New update after a year of using and abusing this mower: I am updating my review because this mower is a beast. After a year the battery’s still hold a charge and i still get over an hour of moving. It weighs almost nothing and is easy to clean and put away. I have bought more sun joe items since this mower blew my mind on cordless mowers. After a year I have only had to buy a new blade for it. (I have also updated my video to HD) ——————————————————— I am still so amazed at how good of a job this little mower does. I will start out saying it changed they way I look at electric battery operated lawn tools. The first thing I noticed when I started to use it is that it is so quiet. Am talking about having a peaceful mowing experience. I was able to still hear the birds chirping from the trees and even my wife from the garden. It starts up quick and is so easy to push and maneuver around. I just knew off that bat that this mower was going to be getting a review and a good one. Now for the details about the performance. With the battery’s charged I started a timer. I got my whole yard mowed and it still wasn’t dead. I ran it non stop for about 50-52 min with almost no loss in power at the end. See pictures for yard size. I also ran it really hard by cutting grass that was thick and tall. About 6 inches or so. I will also leave a picture of the mover next to the grass I was cutting. If it’s is really tall grass I would mow with the front wheels off the ground so that the clippings won’t clog up the housing. Then on the second pass I put it back down and it cut it up with no problems. (See video) Now in some of the other reviews I saw people say that it will not cut the grass low enough but it will and I posted pics. I first started with mowing a spot with it set all they the way up about 3inch cutting high. Then I did one row with it set all they way down #1 at about .5 inch. The left one in the picture and then I set it for 1inch #2 for the right side. It is also easy to adjust the deck height when needed. Over all this mower worked awesome and got the job done. The only somewhat con about it is that I’d dose not come with a discharge port for the grass clippings when mulching. So it can start to pack the grass up in the deck. But again I was cutting 5-6 inch tall grass that would even pack in on a gas mower. I noticed when I first got it that the grass catching bag had big crack but customer service helped me register it and get a replacement bagger. 10/10 on Support. This mower comes with a 2 year warranty that also include the 2 battery’s. You just can’t beat that. I will highly recommend this mover for anyone wanting a mind blowing experience. I needed a new mower but didn't need anything fancy for my smallish lawn (about 1000 sqft.). This unit comes pretty much assembled......just need to attach the push extension that doesn't even require any tools. It's light weight.....about 35 lbs.......& is easy to push. The blade was sharp, it cuts well but doesn't have what I would call "great" torque, ie don't expect it to chop down 6 in. deep grass with ease. It comes with the mulching guard installed but it pops out easily.....just turn it on its side & find the little plugs on the bottom that hold it in & push it out. It takes a few more swipes to finish the lawn than my other, larger mower did but it still only takes about 15 mins. Battery life hasn't been a problem after two uses. The bag is small & fills fast. Also, there is a short starting delay when you push the side button then pull back the handle lever to run it, so don't freak at first. All in all, I'd call it a good value @ $190. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If you look at my video at the grass on the sides of the yard it was about 1.5 ft or so tall this mower cut thru it no problem. I also taked about the improvements they have done and the charge. It was super easy to put together and I would absolutely biy it again. Mine came with 2 batteries and a separate charger. The batteries did get quite warm after 30 minutes but cooled of quickly and still had plenty of charge. The bagger worked well and the muncher as I tried both options it is lightweight but not flimsy. I would buy it again. ... show more

I’m 80 and still cut my lawn. Need the exercise. It was so easy to put together and adjust for me. I don’t use the bagger. To heavy to pickup. It mulches the grass perfectly. I cut grass on Saturday and Wednesday. Battery life is good for a full week.
