I don't think anyone should get in a vehicle without an air compressor in case of leaking tires. I've used several cheap ones for years with mixed results. Seems that every "cigarette lighter" in every vehicle I've owned eventually all go out. So, if you have one of those tire inflators that requires that, you're screwed. Then, a friend of mine showed up one day with one of these rechargeable ones and I was blown away. No cord! So, I just had to get me one. After a couple of tries I ended up with this company's version. It's great, it's dependable. Pros: 1. Portable, lightweight 2. Rechargeable, no cord needed (although a cord is provided as an alternative) 3. Automatically shuts off at the exact amount of pressure you need. 4. Convenient built in flashlight. You get it. The Auto Joe 24V cordless compressor is a handy tool for quick inflation jobs. It's portable, powerful enough for tires and inflatables, and comes with useful accessories. The included battery and charger are convenient. My only gripe is the auto-stop feature. While it does stop at the set pressure, removing the inflation nozzle causes it to restart. I have owned about every type of 12v tire inflator over the years. They all have had deficiencies in common: a need for 12v extension wires to use with a trailer, uncertain when you reached needed pressure, slow fill rates, noisy & often cumbersome with wires and hoses and the compressor flailing away on the ground. This unit has none of those issues. It is light, hand-held, quieter than others I have owned, and has auto turn off when reaching the pressure you set on the digital screen. While I have not determined how many fills is possible with the battery, what I have noted is that both my SUV and pickup have 100 watt 110v outlets, so I can carry the included 50 w charger and recharge the battery while underway after use. Or carry my two other Sun Joe batteries that came with other products. The clamp for the tire valve is easy to use and effective, and allows one hand operation once clamped. The led light will be particularly valuable here in Alaskan winters. No more small flashlight in my mouth! Highly Recommended! ... show more

Great little pump, I've used it for bikes, cars, and motorcycles. Has enough battery to completely fill about two car tires, more than I ever need. I keep it with me to top up my two leaky tires and it lasts about a month used like this. The PSI gauge reads accurate and you can beat the form factor, thing is pretty durable too, I've dropped it several times and still works great. My biggest plus to this is the removable battery, I've also got a SunJoe battery powered washer so having 2 batterys is convenient. If I could have one complaint it would be the charging port for the battery, it's a weird circle type not sure what The technical name for it is but a pretty uncommon charger, would love to see the ability to charge using something standard like a micro as well. ... show more
