This compressor works well and is of small enough size to easily carry in the car. If I had a complaint it would be about how the battery charges. You have to take the battery off the charger and plug the charging cable into a receiver hole in the top of the battery. Recommend a better charging interface, but for the price you can't beat this! ... show more

I don't think anyone should get in a vehicle without an air compressor in case of leaking tires. I've used several cheap ones for years with mixed results. Seems that every "cigarette lighter" in every vehicle I've owned eventually all go out. So, if you have one of those tire inflators that requires that, you're screwed. Then, a friend of mine showed up one day with one of these rechargeable ones and I was blown away. No cord! So, I just had to get me one. After a couple of tries I ended up with this company's version. It's great, it's dependable. Pros: 1. Portable, lightweight 2. Rechargeable, no cord needed (although a cord is provided as an alternative) 3. Automatically shuts off at the exact amount of pressure you need. 4. Convenient built in flashlight. You get it. This is the second one we purchased. IMO it's a "must have" item when it's hot or cold outside and you need to put air in your tires, etc. at home or on the road. The battery charge lasts a long time and you can just set the desired psi, ksi, or whatever measurement you use and it will show your present air pressure and automatically fill your tire and automatically shut off when it meets the targeted amount you selected. There is no need to screw on the hose to your valve cover because it simply slips on, locks down, and do the reverse to quickly remove it in a second. My brother found one of these, & I took that on a long trip. I wound up having to use it because my tires deflated a bit due to the cold, & it was awesome! Easy to use, took me 5 minutes to do all 4 tires, & then I was back on the road! It is a bit noisy, but not as kid as the machines you find at gas stations, & it’s super light! I unfortunately had a similar experience to others with the unit getting hot then blowing the hose after only a couple uses. No complaints about it's ability to inflate and the compressor still works but the hose melts off at the attachment point and is not repairable.
