  • Strider Bikes are the best!!! Seriously, just buy one, you will not regret it!
Color: Black
I bought this for my son early this year, prior to his 2nd birthday in March of 2015! The Strider Balance Bike is amazing!!! My wife was a little unsure at first, but quickly saw how our son was learning to balance completely on his own. He was timid with the bike at first, walked along side it, and got annoyed when it would fall over. Soon after he was straddling the bike and walking around the house. His progression did not take long after that. We mainly stuck to having him use it in the house at first, though shortly after he started using it outside on the grass. About 4 months ago he started riding it on trails both on and off road. He can now fly around the house, down the driveway, up and down hills, on pretty much any terrain, and he can’t get enough. We honestly have to hide his bike at times because we just can’t take it everywhere. Once he figured out the balancing he started gliding small distances and now he can balance with both feet up for easily 25 feet or more with the right speed. Great construction, awesome design, and several accessories available, one of which we will be adding very soon (the ski attachments). I have recorded several GoPro videos of him out riding and enjoying this bike, so much fun!!! Definitely worth the price! I do have one suggestion for Strider, in case they read this. The adjustable seat and handle bars are very easy to use, we love this; though some type of height/level marking along the rod would make it even better! As we have adjusted over time for our growing and learning kiddo, it can be difficult to go back to a setting you previously had, or when others happen to adjust the seat, being able to easily adjust back to the appropriate height would be much easier with some type of marking system. I have used electrical tape and this works in a pinch. Thanks! By the way, be prepared to engage in conversation with others about this bike when you take your kiddo out riding, this seriously happens constantly! You’ll be sure to see you kid quickly flying by older kiddos with training wheels on a traditional bike! Eventually we will transition to pedals, but this definitely seems to be the right approach. Enjoy!!! Thank you Strider!!! Please bring some events to Austin Texas and the surrounding areas!!! ... show more

  • Perfect size for my 23 month old! 🚲
Color: Blue
I’ve been thinking about getting my almost 2-year-old a balance bike for awhile now. He had an infant balance bike that he got for his 1st birthday, but never really used it. I was hesitant to spend this much money on a bike he may not use, but I wanted something that got great reviews and had a loyal following. I’m SOOOOOO happy with this purchase! I ended up giving it to him before his 2nd birthday so he could start using it and getting familiar with it. This is the perfect size for him! He has short legs (25-30th percentile) and a long torso; I have the seat at almost the lowest setting and it’s a great fit. The handle bars are also at the lowest setting for now. The blue color is beautiful!! It’s the perfect shade of royal blue and matches his Joovy toddler helmet perfectly. My only issue with it was during assembly. I’m a single mama, but I did it myself! I had a hard time getting the handlebars to lock in place with the safety lock; no matter how I installed it through the rod, it slid up and down!!! Nowhere in the instructions or in the “how to assemble” video on the Strider website did it mention tightening the screws on the locking portion! Once I did that, it stayed in place. It’s a good idea to make sure the front wheel is in line with the rest of the bike before tightening it!! I did this by holding the frame and wheel between my legs. They provide little tools to tighten the screws with, so use those instead of doing it bare-handed!! It’s going to be a big transition from his tiny infant bike, but I know it’ll get tons of use this summer!! It’s lightweight, fairly easy to assemble, and very durable and sturdy. If I could add one thing to it, it would be a kickstand!!!! We have to stand it against the wall in the garage or it falls right over. Why isn’t there a kickstand?!!! Perhaps a safety measure? I TOTALLY recommend this. It should grow with him for many years to come. Happy Ridin’! Hope this helps! 💙 ... show more

  • Great Bike for 2 Year old
Color: Matte Gray
My daughter loves this bike and took her not too long to figure out how to use this. This bike was easy to put together and seems like a very durable quality. I am able to adjust the handles and seat easily and seems like something she will grown with until she is ready for a real bike.

  • Grandson's 2nd Xmas gift
Color: Orange
Grandson just turned 2 a few months after Christmas. He is sort of getting the hang of it now and seems to enjoy it. Should be good for a few years as he grows since there are adjustments to raise the seat up. Good way for them to learn balance and it is very well made. Decided to get the Strider brand rather than some of the imitations. Keep it made in America. ... show more
