I have to admit, we did not assemble so not sure if this was easy, we had our son who is a mechanical engineer and expert with bikes assemble this for us for our 2 year old grandson's birthday. Our daughter in law asked us to purchase for his birthday. Not sure he likes it yet as he will not wear the helmet. I think with time he will get use to it and like it. He is a active toddler and loves to run and play. I noticed at the coffee shop and at the park many of these types of bikes seems perfect for toddlers to gain balance without bothering with the pedals. I will report later as he uses it if I would recommend it. Until he accepts the helmet it sits in the garage. Nice sturdy well made even though the company is in North Dakota it is made in China. My 2 year old loves this bike! The seat changes heights so you can make it fit comfortable for your toddler. Great quality and easy to learn how to use. I got it when my child was 18 month but it wasn’t until closer to 2 that she could use it on her own without me holding on to help her balance it.
