Received this yesterday. A family with a toddler, bachelor father, brother, best friend and wife with standards. We’ve picked out a new sofa, but until family is “house trained” - a project proving to take untold amounts of patience- we’ve decided to hold off on our precious purchase. Wife is about to throw us all out as the sofa spots are unbearable. She picked this out and it’s all ready saving sanity. Note: the foam pieces must be pushed deep into the sofa. If possible wedge them between wood or something sturdy. We tested the sofa out while the family was asleep. None of the foam come loose. Win-win! ... show more

This thing is one of the best things one can buy to save a leather couch when the leather is coming off from regular wear and tear. A real couch life-saver! I had tried everything from repair patch kits and leather tape, but none of them were really effective covering up the spots where the leather had ripped, but this product in one fell swoop solved the whole problem. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this, especially for the price. However, my loveseat was seriously on its last leg and was looking not so great to say the least. When I first opened the bag I noticed the rich color and soft feel. I decided to wash it first because of the color (not so much for the couch I don’t care about anymore, but my clothes!) It washed fine. It was easy to put on with no help (good since I’m a Lone Ranger) and it looks so good everyone is asking me if I got a new loveseat. Totally upgraded the look of my living room and my subsequent sanity - it’s my zen space again instead a stressor! The little foam cylinders help only if you can get them under the wood. That being said, I can sit and lay on this and it holds its place quite well. My German Shepherd likes to fluff before he lays down, so I figured it’d be all messed up after the first night. Nope! Barely moved and no rips! I was SHOCKED. I plan on buying another color to switch out my living room look when I change my drapes - either for this one or a new one (if I get around to it first) so it’s protected. I have an old couch that I just can't part with. It's super comfortable and it's kind of an heirloom, yet it probably just needs to be donated. Until I can get the funds for a new one, I wanted to rejuvenate my living room--especially with this loveseat. The original material was worn and tattered and when I got this slip cover, it gave everything new life--it even matches the colors of the place too. This would be perfect for someone who has pets if they don't want to get the original material dirty with hairs. When I get my new couch, I'm considering getting another one of these in a couch size. Definitely helps if you have two people putting the slip on, but it's still easy to put on the couch. Make sure to use the styrofoam to tuck into the cushions for a fluffier look. I bought this to replace a more expensive slipcover that I bought and my one dog had torn it up with in weeks. This is such a nice replacement and fits perfectly. I had it on in @5minutes. Very easy. The foam rolls so far, have kept it in place and because it fits so snug the one dog that tended to do the pawing at the other more loose fitting cover we had ,has not done that on this one. This loveseat (picked up for free from someone’s front yard) was fairly beat up and had hideous brown upholstery. But I measured it and hoped for the best with this slipcover especially since I wasn’t sure if it was fit over the big, droopy back and arm cushions. It arrived and was super easy to install, very stretchy, easy to tuck in properly, and is incredibly soft. It gave this old loveseat new life and it looks wonderful! I’m so happy with it. It doesn’t come untucked easily unless you sort of slide and drag across the seat, but it’s really easy to put back into place. For the most part it stays put and it looks far better than I hoped for. Other reviews said they noticed color transference, but I haven’t seen that happen with mine thankfully. First I’d like to say I’ve only had these on for about a week or so- I’ll definitely be back with an update in a few months. I’ve had these ugly brown couches forever. They are comfy still- so I couldn’t bring myself to throw them out and buy new ones just yet. I thought about painting them but they are a sort of suede like, microfiber type deal. If I were to paint them- they’d become like leather. Sticky leather, not comfy. Last resort was these covers, and I have got to say- they really changed the whole vibe of the room. ALL of my furniture is black, minus the ugly brown couches. These made them look sleek! Now they match with everything and look so good. Upgraded my living room looks for sure. They are soft to the touch. They really are stretchy and they fit okay. I did not need the seams to be perfectly matching the couch shape, I was able to just tuck any loose areas into the couch and they still look so great! I had someone over and they were like “you got new couches ?!?!” Nope! I used these to change the style and color of my couches- I can’t speak for pet hair or cleaning yet.
