  • Great slim head lamp
Color: Yellow
I love this little head lamp. I own 3 of them. I like it because it small and light weight. I don’t like when they are heavy or clunky. There are no hot spots and then washed out areas, just good consistent light left to right. I like that it has a solid strip of led lights and not singles “bulbs” per se. I like that it’s rechargeable. It charges up quick via it’s mini usb connection. I appreciate its simple design. I didn’t want a clunky Swiss. army head lamp. I keep one in my car’s glove box for use at night when needed. It doesn’t take up much space at all. Great for outdoor walks at light. ... show more

  • CHARGE IT FIRST
Color: Yellow
This is light weight simple to use and l like the yellow color in case it gets dropped in the field. When first bought this light and pushed button the light was very bright making me think it was charged, however as soon as released the button it would go out and I couldn't get to stay on making me think the switch was broke on it. I am glad I decided to charge it before returning it. Once charged it works perfectly and I am even thinking about ordering a 2nd one to have one for the house and one for the car. It has 2 easy to get to settings for medium and bright light. It also has a strobe feature. It comes with with a single adjustable headband you can put on it or you can use a clip to put on the bill of your hat. The light pivots up and down. Its USB rechargeable. I do not think the rechargeable is replaceable but If I can get a few years use out of it for 20$ I can live with that. ... show more

  • Reliable! And I love the Cap Clip!
Color: Black
I was drawn to this light for reasons that you can clip it on to a baseball cap! It comes with a head strap but I love the cap clip feature the most! I use this for work and it sure works well. The fact that it’s RECHARGEABLE is a major Plus for me! It’s compact but it can output a decent amount of light. There are 2 brightness mode settings which works great. The only minor down size is that with prolong use of a steady constant stream of light; just like any other flashlight, will drain the battery after a good amount of time. There is no indicator (like light dimming) when the battery is low. It would just simply go off after giving as much light output it can. But no worries as it is a reliable rechargeable light. Overall, it works great for me! ... show more

  • Good for what it is.
Color: Black
I like that this is a very user friendly headlamp that can stow away in a car's glove compartment, a backpack, a bag of tools, or any other convenient nook so that it is ready for use in seconds. It doesn't hold a charge for very long so if left for two months you will need to recharge it. No external batteries to have to worry about and it's very light. You can slip it on in 2 seconds and it provides enough light to get by in total darkness. I liked it enough that I bought one for a friend. It's perfect for a casual headlamp when looking through shelves in your garage or looking for keys that you dropped at night at a picnic. You can't go wrong with this thing. ... show more

  • LED headlamp.
Color: Black
I have a large head and this fit me perfect with the nice soft elastic band that doesn’t hurt your forehead. The brightness is good enough to work at night in your car or around the house. Battery life works pretty long on a full charge with simple settings light or brighter.

  • Awesome Hands free light for money
Color: Black
For the price this light is amazing. Had 2 brightness settings. Holds to the hat well and is never in field of view. For setting up camp in the dark, working under the hood of your truck, and other similar activities where both hands are need it’s great. The battery life is great on low power ,on high it certainly doesn't last as long as expected because it is extremely bright. The distance it shines is really not that great compared to similar flashlights and even some other headlamps I have with less brightness. Overall really like it for ease of use but would not recommend for a headlamp that needs to be on for a whole night shift or needing to shine light more that 20 ft. ... show more

  • Great Ultralight Head-Mounted Floodlight
Color: Black
I bought the Bandit despite already owning a focused headlight that is considerably brighter, but also considerably heavier. The focused spot, while useful for distant spotting at night, was not ideal for just walking around in the dark, either outdoors or inside. My impression is that the Bandit is perfect for that. I read some reviews that say that the headband was too thin and loose, but found the adjustable band to be perfect for holding up the Bandit, which weighs in at just over an ounce. I haven't tried the cap mount yet. I plan to use the light on low, not having any need so far for the bright setting. I tested the light for low light level operating time and got 6.5 hours from the first charge and 7 hours from the second. Possibly the operating time will increase more with recurring cycles. I also measured the output light (lux) level over the second operating trial a short distance from the light. Starting at 100%, the light declined steadily to about 12% at shutdown after 7 hours. This is not as bad as it sounds, however, because the eye's perception of brightness is logarithmic, more like a cube root of the light level, so the perceived brightness at 7 hours was more like half of the perceived brightness at the start. If the light is used up close or in dark adapted conditions at night, it provides adequate light to both read or work on things close up and to navigate safely through obstacles. The information on the paper provided with the Bandit appears to have errors. It indicates a charge time of 1.5 hours with a 1000 ma draw. I measured a maximum charging current about 200 ma while using a charger that could supply 2000 ma. Also, the charging time in both trials was about 2.5 hours. The information supplied by Streamlight on the Amazon webpage appears to be a better match with reality, indicating a 450 mah battery that requires 2.5 hours for charging. With a 200 ma charging current dwindling down to about 10 ma at the end of charge, a time of 2.5 hours is very reasonable for that mah rating.. Although I really like the light, I wish that it had a slightly larger battery to extend the usable operating time to 12 hours or so. Hopefully, it will get closer to the claimed 9.5 hour operating time as the battery gets broken in. ... show more
