    • Good but not Great
Well first of all, any story from the Stranger Things universe is a good one. I’ve loved the other Stranger Things novels but wasn’t too impressed with this one. It raises a few continuity errors in the current timeline: Where was Joey Kim in season 2? If you’re going to add in a new character who befriends the gang, you need to show why they didn’t stick around. Unless Kim was so weirded out by what he saw at the end that he left the guys alone but being that he’s a horror nut, I don’t see why he would find it weird. Also, Troy and his cronie left Mike and his friends alone after El broke his arm. So why are they bullying him again and then suddenly stop in season 2? Bad writing. I’d give this one stars, but I added a star for Will’s zombie jokes and for how accurately they portrayed the gangs PTSD. ... show more

    • Fun and sweet Season 2 backstory
Although it's much shorter than the other two Stranger Things graphic novels (Six and The Other Side) I liked the story and artwork. It's a sweet and enjoyable backstory about the boys dealing with the aftermath of their first adventures with Eleven and the Upside Down.

I bought this book for my daughter. This is an amazing series on t.v and has books too go with it as well. It's not a chapter book but like a comic book with words and pictures.

Bought item for my Daughters birthday, she loved it. The images were clear and looked like the characters from the movie. It was also easy to read for her reading at her current reading level.
