  • Poetically Haunting
This is a tragic story of a man who wants to do good but causes just as much damage in the long run.

  • I had no expectations for this and they were all blown away!
i’ll keep this short, i bought this for the sole reason that i love DC had always seen the Spectre on the sidelines but never knew anything about him, so i picked up this. First i was pleasantly surprised to see that it’s actually 12 issues in here so it’s a meaty graphic novel. Secondly the art work is AMAZING, there were multiple times i just stopped and stared and a page soaking in everything on it. Thirdly the story is so amazing and dark wow was it dark for a comic series. I would recommend this too any comic book fan! ... show more

a few years back i was forced to liquidate my comic book collection- i am elated to have these. Some of the best written, along w/ Starman & the marvel 4 part Druid series-of the 90's-have always loved the Spectre. Thanx AMazon for having this.

  • The Spectre Vol. 1: Crimes and Judgments
The series showed a different interpretation of the Spectre than what I grew up with, but the quality of the writing and the artwork won me over. Over the decades, the Spectre has been one of DC's most interesting characters, though often neglected for long periods. If you're a fan of the Spectre, you should get this book. ... show more

An absolutely fantastic book about an underrated character. It's a bit dark, but what else can you expect from the Wrath of God

  • can’t believe Dc was able to publish this without adult content warning
Never read The Spectre before, this reads like a Noir and Horror, it’s so 90s ! Crazy looking back now, definitely worth a read.

  • Great Deal
Great early 90's comic of one of my favorite DC characters. Has a very horror/noir tone throughout that I really enjoyed.
