  • This is a cool tent!
This tent is one of the most functional tent I've owned. It's very light, especially for its size. I really like how different this tent is, it has 3 doors, an inside pocket for gear storage, hooks to hang a lantern inside, 3 doors, the side can be used as an awning, or zipped closed, many guy out points for a good pitch, and a small vet at the bottom across the awning side for ventilation that can be opened or closed. On too of all that it comes with a footprint! The tent stayed very toasty with the stove. And since I wasn't having any issues with condensation, I wanted to push it and closed everything up including the small vent by the sleeping area. It got down to 30 degrees, and the following morning I only had the slightest condensation at the very top of the tent, but bot even enough to drip or run. The only way I could tell was by feeling it with my hand. I was actually really impressed. I thought for sure it would condensate a lot more. Had I left the small vent open I think it wouldn't have had condensation at all. I'll continue to test and post an update. Killer tent, really happy with it, love the way it looks! ... show more

  • Nice hot tent but...
First, I'm sending this hot tent back because I ordered it expecting it to be new. There was a seam repair that looks like it came from the factory. I'm not a big fan of the way the poles set up inside the tent. There is nothing to really indicate where you should put them. Obviously common sense will dictate each end at the opening to the stove and rear entrance. Would be nice if there was something the poles actually fit into a bit to give guidance. The tent came with no instructions as well which was really crappy. Luckily I found a YouTube video which helped immensely. The porch poles have same issue as the inside of the tent. They're just odd to me there's no set grommets to put these things in. I bought this setup with the Timber ultralight stove because I watched Lonewolf 902. He's been doing this for years and makes setting these tents up look easy. Guy just has the experience and every piece of camping equipment you'd ever want or need. This was my first hot tent experience and it scared me because of the poles and my lack of experience with hot tents. You knock a pole over, especially the one closest to the stove and you're done, period. Perhaps I should've gotten the Tipi. All in all besides the repair on what was supposed to be a brand new tent, the material of the tent is very good. Guy lines have reflective materials in them which make them easy to see at night with a headlamp or lantern. Zippers worked as they should also. The stakes Pomoly provides are soft aluminum and if you look at them wrong they're bent. I ended up using my own that were 100% more sturdy. I'm sure a person with more experience would enjoy this tent, it's not a bad product at all minus the stakes and lack of instructions. I will be sending this back because of the the tear and seam tape used to repair when it was supposed to be new. I ended up getting a Kodiak Canvas 10x10 to replace this tent. Again, I wouldn't be opposed to buying another Pomoly tent. The tipi seems better for a beginner than this one. I do think Pomoly makes a great and durable product. ... show more

  • Some seams are not stitched all the way.
Seams are not stitched. Found a few seams about 1 to 3 inches where the stitching is lackluster. I assume the machine probably broke a needle since it’s mostly in areas where the material is double or tripled up and near where the toggles are. Hand stitched the areas since I need to use the tent asap. Would advise before using this tent to look over all seams for stitching and water proofing (but you should always do this even with high end brands). Otherwise the tent is fairly decent for a hot tent at the price point. ... show more
