Purchased Nov 30 22 for my wife for XMAS Installed Jan 4 or so 23. Jeep is garage keep and roof never has been off. 2015 with 34000 miles . RADIO QUITE WORKING JUNE 26 This is a mall crawler show piece with a 1500 dollar piece of junk radio. No response back from Stinger Off Road . I have never left anyone a bad review. If this radio was a few hundred bucks joke would be on me. Highly pissed after my install and showing off sold product for Stinger. Hope this review cost you as much as it coasted me ... show more

The fit and finish is great, factory looking. Install is a breeze with the ability to follow simple instructions. The unit also adds features the JK that were never offered from the factory giving the Jeep a more modern feel. Hands down the best part of our audio upgrades

i bought this unit with hi hopes for a good replacement for the stock radio in my 18 JK. From the start i was not impressed with the functionality of the unit. it seemed to be behind the times something ten years old. i decided to stick with it just due to the hassle of having to uninstall it and do it over with something else. well less than a year has passed and i wish i would have followed my instincts. i was on a recent road trip and the sound started cutting in and out while using the sirius xm feature. i thought it was just some bad reception only to find that it does it with android auto and the over the air radio. i have taken it completely out and reinstalled it only to still have the problem. I've thoroughly checked all connections multiple times with no success. this is super aggravating. this unit cost me $1000 with all the upgrades. stay away and go with ALPINE!!!!!!! ... show more

Originally we had an issue but after a few weeks stinger and my husband figured out what it was and fixed it. I’m not a huge fan of how it looks. I had imagined it more “flush” to the dash where as it looks like a tablet was glued on the dash to me. The picture quality is a bit blurry but you’re not supposed to be staring at the screen going down the road anyhow. We didn’t replace speakers but changing from factory to this head unit has increased sound quality a ton! ... show more

    • Save yourself a headache.
After having the install completed in my wife’s Jeep Wrangler using the STINGER Wrangler JK 2011-2018 HEIGH10 10” Flush-Mount Radio Replacement Kit, everything seemed fine for about a month. Then the issues started. At first, it seemed like it was popping the fuse, but every time I checked, the fuse was fine. Just to be sure, I replaced the fuse, and amazingly, the head unit worked again—only to have the same issue a week later. This went on for some time. I tried researching the problem and found nothing. Eventually, I replaced the fuse again, and this time the head unit worked for about two months. I thought maybe the problem had resolved itself. Nope. Now the head unit is completely dead. I took it to a shop, and they confirmed the unit is shot. As I write this review, I’m on hold with Stinger’s customer service. This is my second call after spending an hour on hold listening to the same awful techno music, only to be disconnected. I’ve now been on hold for two hours and still no help. If you buy this product and end up with a bad unit like I did, don’t expect any support. You’ll be stuck in an endless loop of hold music and frustration. Save yourself the trouble.     • Installation Not Straightforward
I am six hours into what should have been a 2 hour install and there are no good instructions for when you have trouble with the final installation step of mounting the display to the brackets on the head unit. I have to go to work tomorrow, so I will just be driving around with no stereo until I figure it out or decide to uninstall the whole mess and go back to my factory head unit.
