  • Good hammer:One of the claw tines broke in the last one, but is used daily.
A bit pricey but company is good, prefer the lighter instead of 15 oz. Third hammer like this purchased in about 10 years.

  • Durability and cost
Just got off the roof after a long day of pounding pole barn nails into rafters (2000+). First day with the hammer and although I put it through a rigorous break in and it held up fine, I'm worried about the lifetime vs cost ratio here. First day on the job and the magnet for the nail starter already broke out and is laying somewhere in a 50000 ft. area. Not a deal breaker but I expect more at this price point. Main concern is the face (smooth) is already showing significant wear on the side I tend to fall off the nail on after one day on the job. Unacceptable. Will more than likely use the hammer for its lifetime and goes back to my old 22 oz Estwing as I cant afford a new hammer every year.. ... show more

  • Overpriced
The lettering on the handle wears off her quickly and the magnet fell out within the first couple weeks :(

  • Great Hammer
I have been using this hammer now for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier. Although i broke the handle on my first one stilletto replaced it without too miuch hassle. My work is not just limited to framing which is why i got the smooth face.biggest plus is just how light it is on your belt ,it's really like having no hammer at all hanging from you. For years i used the 22 oz estwing so i can saftely say this hammer drives nails faster and with less effort than the 22 oz steel head You WON"T be sorry you bought this ... show more

  • Great hammer as well
I had a Stiletto previously. It was a 14 ounce, milled-face with an 18" handle. Great hammer as well. I gave it away to a friend in the framing business. Recently, tendonitis struck with a vengeance. So I purchased this hammer to help deal with the pain enabling me to continue working. With its light weight and recoil absorption, combined with increased velocity of strike giving the power of a much heavier steel hammer, this hammer proved to be everything I needed. And your service of the order was excellent as well. ... show more
