  • Best hammer!
So.. I've had this hammer for almost 4 weeks. I've noticed quite a few things about it: 1) Best balance ever. Because it is so lightweight, it probably wasn't hard for them to balance. 2) Durable face. It seems like it will last quite a while. More on this in a bit. 3)Beautiful nail starter. It takes no guessing on where you're going to end up putting the nail, probably from the extra control from how lightweight it is. Also, nails only tend to jump out if they're bent. Dont ask why I'm driving bent nails. It's rude. 4) The power. And I mean HOLY CRAP THE POWER! I've seen my hammer drive a 16D double head in one hit. If you're thinking of asking what that is, I would suggest buying something cheaper. This would probably be too much hammer for you AND your bank account. 5) You might want to think about having another hammer for the tools you have to beat. Why, you ask? Well.. about that face. I can't find any actual data on what its composition is. What I did find, however, was that it chewed up quite a bit of my hardened Mason chisel with just a bit of light use. I couldn't have hit it more than 300 times. It's almost a half inch shorter than it used to be. All that efficiency means the energy is going somewhere else. And when you have a steel tool against concrete.. well.. bye concrete. And bye steel tool. 6) Oh boy is this thing efficient. You can REALLY feel the difference with how little recoil you get out of the hammer. You practically have to PAY ATTENTION for the recoil to notice it. I'm spoiled. So.. if you (or someone you love) has to swing hammers frequently and this is in your price range, get it. It is a solid investment. Just let them know to never let this out of their sight, because it will grow legs FAST. And if you're still wondering why you should- it's cheaper than the doctor's visits for what a steel hammer does to you. Drawbacks: too powerful for using on other tools, side puller dies too quickly (dont use it unless you have to do so,) doesn't have a side face for tight spaces, and people will want it for their tool box at a five finger discount. ... show more

  • Good for ergonomics and saves your arm.
This is my second T bone in 20 years. They last forever and can take a beating. None of that hammer vibration which saves your arm in the long run. Light so does not fatigue your wrist or forearm when you swing it all day. Long handle with a nice handle allows solid hits comparable to 28oz hammers without the wear and tear to you. Nail pull on side makes stubborn duplex nails a breeze. And a good talking piece when you tell your co workers how much it cost. ... show more

  • Great hammer
For the price I was skeptical! After using it multiple hrs you can definitely feel the difference in this hammer compared to a 20+ ounce hammer. This one I believe is 17 oz buy swings & hits like a 28oz. Great buy!

  • If I pay that much I had to make it mine.
Im REAL happy with the investment I made. I’ve used it on my deck and bought it for my Habitat builds. My Stanley Antivibe is a good hammer but it does not have the magnetic nail holder. After tapping my nail thumb three times on two different Hanitat weekends my left thumb is going to appreciate this hammer as much as my right forearm. 6-8 hours of framing you’re going to miss some center strikes. I noticed the Habitat leaders were ALL using Stiletto’s, Either Stiletto gives them free hammers or they know something. One volunteer leader who told me he has over 80 builds received his Stiletto as a gift from his children. I went a little crazy with paint on this hammer, I’m a TN Volunteer and Harley rider, I’m an Orange, White and Black guy. It arrived with a blue handle and gray stem. I coated the handle with Plastidip Blaze, and the stem with hammered black. The center is Pearlized Plastidip with glow in the dark orange powder. The Stiletto ‘S’ was filled white and glow powder added then Clear epoxy layered. The lettering has touch up paint from my Harley. It could have been better but it’s mine and I’m imperfect too. The claw ripped up some rotten wood on my deck and bent and removed a few Galvanized nails. Great Hammer! ... show more

  • Bought as a thank you gift
My nephew helped us get her house ready for sale and he wouldn't accept money. All he wanted was this really nice Hammer as a token of appreciation. He absolutely loves this hammer and it was far cheaper than the stores want to charge for it. He still comments every time I see him how much he loves this hammer. ... show more

  • Lightweight
Hammer is definitely an upgrade from Estwing that you can feel instantly. No more waking up with arm numbness. Takes a few days to get used to the weight difference, but grows on you eventually.
