Description

Stiebel Eltron Tankless Water Heater - Tempra 20 Trend – Electric, On Demand Hot Water, Eco, White The Stiebel Eltron Tempra 20 Trend Tankless Water Heater will typically use 15-20% less energy compared to conventional electric tank water heaters. Although, it’s possible to save significantly more energy depending on personal home usage habits. The difference is that conventional tank water heaters continually store hot water, and as a result, lose 15%-20% of the total energy consumed to the environment around them. This is called standby heat loss. Tank water heaters that use gas or oil are even less efficient, because they also lose heat through their vents to the outdoors. Our tankless water heaters do not need venting, and will not store hot water, waiting for you to use it. They operate on-demand to provide continuous and endless hot water when you need it, and not waste energy when you don’t. CERTIFICATIONS INCLUDE - ANSI/UL Std. 499, CSA Std. C22.2 No. 88, ISO 9001, WQA tested & certified against NSF/ANSI 372 for lead free compliance. • Really nice!
Once installed runs really nice - silent, runs two full showers with no issues - Be sure to get a qualified estimate for your power installation as it can be very expensive!

  • Works well so far
Our traditional tank water heater blew out and we took the opportunity to go tankless. We have had a couple unfortunate plumbing events this winter, so we do not have a good read on our water/energy efficiency yet. Out biggest concern was whether we would be able to convert easily from a natural gas tanked heater to the electric tankless. We did the plumbing and electric ourselves. The instructions are not the clearest on the electrical set up, so we turned to YouTube to find someone that did it already. We were only able to find a video (Part 1) that showed the water connections, which were pretty straight forward anyways. We could not find Part 2 on the electric, so we proceeded with fingers crossed. In the end, we were able to make the connect without incident. It would be helpful if the company offered step-by-step video instructions. ... show more

  • Works great
We've been using our tankless for our family of 5 for over 6mo. The husband and I installed this ourselves in no time. Works great, we never run out of hot water. We lose a little pressure if the dishwasher or washing machine is on, but that's to be expected. Worth every penny.
