  • Well worth the price
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
I bought this kitchen for my 4 year old granddaughter and although it took about 4 hours to put together it was well worth it. The assembly is quite easy to follow you are just dealing with pictures to explain how to build it rather than long paragraphs that don’t make sense. If you can build a puzzle you can build this kitchen set. I did my research on over 20 different kitchen sets before deciding on this one. The others were on the small size wherein the child is bound to grow out of playing within a year or they were just plain old compressed wood kitchens that did absolute nothing except make a turning sound on the gas knobs for the oven or a dropping sound when ice cube falls out of an ice cube maker. What fun is that for a child? Although this kitchen did not come with a built-in ice maker like some of the others, the lighted fridge door truly makes up for it. I just bought the Melissa and Doug ice juice dispenser as an addition to make up for the ice dispenser lacking in this kitchen set. There is also lots of storage space. This kitchen has all the bells and whistles and it is nice and tall so your child has many years of enjoyment. The only thing I wish was different was the microwave I feel for the price they could have had buttons to press and possible lights and movement. Other than that no complaints. The price may be high but well worth it. ... show more

  • This Kitchen is great if you are looking for lots of things to play with and lots of places to put food!
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
My hat goes off to anyone who can put this whole thing together in less than 5 hours! While we were building it, I was for sure thinking "4 Stars." But now that it is done, I am so happy with it, that I am thinking 5 stars again! Your directions are basically pictures. If you have never put anything together before, this is going to be frustrating as all get out! Don't think for a second that you are going to put this thing together with a screw driver, like the guy in the pic. Make sure you have an electric screw driver and you will be fine. Most of the time, there are not receiving holes, you are going to screw into the plastic where no hole has ever been before. Many screws must go in at an angle. Strangely, the fridge lights go on WHEN YOU CLOSE THE DOOR, and not when you open it. As with all electric things on this, it all turns off after 20 seconds. (Good!) Unlike other play kitchens, there are no beep beeps with the microwave, no working buttons. But the blender, popcorn popper, sizzling and bubbling sounds make up for it, as my son said "That's sick!!" :) (Sick means GREAT!!) The stickers for the Keurig are different sizes, I thought they were the same and put the wrong ones on the counter vs. the cups and had to cut down the others to fit. Also, I changed 3 of the bottles to reflect Mayo, Ketchup, and Mustard. You can get creative if you keep the trim around the stickers, you can draw your own however you like. I also labled mine. I expect this thing to get a ton of use and am very pleased. The cake was purchased on amazon and I highly recommend this product: Squishies Slow Rising by M-Gigi. Most of the food in the pics is our own stuff, mainly purchased off of Amazon and ebay. The "cutting vegetables" and knife is super cool, a very satisfying crunch when you cut them apart. The muffins are not as cool, get something else if you can find them. No parts were missing. ... show more

  • Huge and Adorable!
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
I love it! I found myself playing with the kitchen alongside my little boy. He loves his kitchen stuff, and he flipped out when he saw this on Christmas morning. It comes with a lot of parts. The pots sit on the oven and it makes the sound of cooking. It comes with a blender and popcorn maker that you sit on the stove, and it makes sounds and actually looks like it's popping. The oven light turns on as well as the refrigerator light. It was well worth the money.!!! ... show more

  • Buy it
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
I was sold at the blender / popcorn features. The light and sounds make the kids feel like it's the real deal. It's big, sturdy, attractive, and has loads of fun features. My kids adore it and I'm sure it'll last well beyond when they outgrow it.

  • Great Birthday/Christmas gift for toddler
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
After doing so much research, I got this for my son's 3rd birthday since he loves to pretend cook and it was a hit! It's big enough that he can grow into it and the material is a very sturdy plastic. It did take some time to put together (like hours), but the instructions were easy enough to understand and follow. I was missing nails for the handles, but it was very easy to contact product support and they quickly shipped the missing parts! Both Amazon and step2 reached out to make sure I was satisfied and that alone let me know I chose the right brand! Highly recommend ... show more

  • So far, so good
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
Nice play kitchen. So far the kids love it and I feel it was worth the price. Hoping as time goes on it holds up well. Took about a hour to put together. They love the blender and other dish with the beads in it that twirl when you set them on the burner. Not sure why some reviews say it takes 4+ hours to put together because it didn’t for us. Make sure you are using an electric drill. Not everything pictured came with it. My sons are kind of older for it but have always loved play kitchen. Ages 5, 6, 7 & 9. We got this one to replace the wooden step 2 blue kitchen which I do not recommend. That took 8 hours to put together a few years ago and was not worth the price. It’s way too cheap of “wood” and breaks too easily. Go with the plastic stuff! Go with THIS kitchen! ... show more

  • Defective!
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
There are clear black marks on a large portion of the white and clear plastic. I attempted to remove with a magic eraser prior to contacting customer service. There was no protective packaging on the pieces. One of the boxes arrive with a hole in it. This is a santa present for my child, and I expected it to be top quality. When discussint with customer service, they referred the the item as used. Customer service wanted me to disassemble the piece I had already put together and return the item. Do not order! Just discovered as I am continuing to assemble this that the oven light does not work. I have tried 2 sets of brand new batteries. ... show more
