The STEM Kits for Kids Ages 8-10 10-12, Wood Building Crafts Kit for Boys 8-12, Model Car Kit, 3D Wooden Puzzles Woodworking Science Projects, Construction Engineering STEM Toys for 8 10 13 12 14 Year Old is an excellent kit for any child interested in building and electronics. The kit is well made. It includes everything you need to make each item in the kit, including the screwdriver. Each kit has everything contained in its own bag along with the instructions for that kit, all the screws, wires and miscellaneous parts. All the structural parts are flat, laser cut boards that need to be punched out. For the most part, they punch out easily, just a few pieces needed a little extra work to get them apart. My 6 year old grandson absolutely loved the kit. He really enjoyed putting it together with grandpa. He could probably have done it by himself as he's extremely advanced for his age. The Electric Roller took about an hour to put together, start to finish. This is an excellent product for the price. I highly recommend it. ... show more

    • Great projects but TINY parts
I ordered these to put together with my son. We love doing little projects like this, and we had a blast putting a couple of these together. A word of caution: many of the screws are absolutely tiny. Yes, that's to be expected, but make sure you have some kind of containment system for the parts (we used a little magnetic parts cup to hold everything) or you will inevitably knock a tiny piece onto the floor and lose it forever. Some of the parts take a little extra sanding to fit well together, but the final products look great and function well. While I expect the little motor will eventually burn out and quit working, the experience is well worth the value you get from this kit. Highly recommended. ... show more
