This was such a fun project to do with my little brothers when they came in town. Although with the three of them doing each project, I did need to find two other screwdrivers in my house. So just keep that in mind when purchasing and planning. They did paint these and play with them all week that they were visiting. It was the perfect gift to them. They are ages 5 (twins) and 4! Nice quality for first time model builders. I liked that it was all put together with screws and not pegs. Took longer to put together and learned to take his time using the screw driver. My grandson likes to play and sometimes can get a little rough. So far these are holding up good .

This is the first model experience for both of my children. They are 4.5 and 3 yr old. The older was able to build with some guidance and presetting of screws. But he had a great time The 3 year old wasn’t able to do it but enjoyed being there and “involved”. They are both painting them and having a good time The car was great, easy to build and everything matched perfectly. The airplane was missing a piece and I had to do some whittling to make the pieces fit. We haven’t built the truck yet. Instructions were also missing from the kit. ... show more

Put this together with my 6 year old. Need two people to put together (one to hold the pieces the other to hand screw them in) so perfect project for dad and son. Comes with a screwdriver perfect for smaller hands and easy directions to follow to put together. We painted this after assembly as well with acrylic paint. Good for beginner carpenters ... show more

    • It's okay, not good.
Some of the pieces on the wood were cut too short. If you screwed into the holes you would tear off the wood. Some of the holes weren't aligned. But overall decent.
