  • does a good job
I got this to use at home and I am pretty happy with it - I mean as much as I can be for this type of chore! I passionately dislike ironing, in part, I am sure, because I am not particularly good. Also, the ironing board is big, so I need a lot of space near an outlet. Should I make more excuses? I found this to be a great alternative. It heats up quickly and did the job effectively. I was able to steam several items before needing to refill the water tank. While it doesn't get clothes as crisp as ironing, since I really don't iron, my clothes look better than they did. ... show more

  • It has become a must.
I'm retired, and I am a pretty casual dresser. However, I still need a suit coat and dress pants on occasion. My usual method of removing wrinkles has been to hang up an item in the bathroom when I shower. That shower's steam would often do the trick. I recently lost weight and had to get a few new things to fill my wardrobe. I don't need top-of-the-line clothing and found some reasonable stuff on Amazon. However, a lot of clothing is now sent in vacuum-sealed bags. I understand that this makes warehousing and shipping more manageable, but it often leaves almost permanent creases and wrinkles in the clothing. I had to find my iron lost in my basement for dress shirts ( I last used it a few years ago). But there are some types of clothing I'm just uncomfortable ironing. One was a sports jacket with horrible creases, and the other was a thick synthetic sweater. My "shower treatment" did nothing, and I knew I needed a steamer. This well-built steamer has enough water-holding capabilities to de-crease my sports jacket in one water fill. The sweater that I steamed used less than half of the water reservoir. It comes with a brush attachment, which is what I used. The bristles bent on the brush but didn't impact the steamer's use. It heats very fast and produces a good amount of steam. It worked well (see my photos). Overall, I like it. However, here are some cons: -The manual needs to be in better English-not a big deal. -The cord could be longer. I had to adapt how I steamed my clothes, which was a minor inconvenience. -I couldn't refold the steamer for the life of me, which is a hassle for storage and travel. -You must use distilled water, but a cheap gallon will last a long time. The steamer that I used in the past could use tap water, but that was a long time ago. -You have to pause after each long pass to allow it to reheat, but it only takes a few seconds for that to happen. Despite these shortcomings, it worked just fine, and I will use it and recommend it. All of the shortcomings were easily solved, except for refolding the unit. I'm guessing that I'm doing something wrong with that (operator error). ... show more

  • Gentle Wrinkle Relief
There wasn't much in the product description, but I was excited for the selection and gave it a try. Well, it has that minimalist appeal and gets the job done. However, don't expect an iron press but just a gentle relief. I had to continuously remind myself that it's just a steamer and not a crisp iron press for removing wrinkles. There's just not a crisp appeal to the garment in my opinion. And, I really need that as a personal choice. If traveling, I'd use the Hotel's iron and leave my steamer at home. Also, I think, the water compartment could be a little larger, and the price point is a little high comparatively with similar steamers. Overall, it's just ok, and I would utilize only if no other options were available. I've rated this steamer with 3 Stars. ... show more

  • Perfect portable steamer!
I really like this steamer. It’s powerful and efficient at heating and steaming my clothes. It’s easy to use and refill, and it even comes with a brush that can be attached to the head to remove pet hair easily. The build quality is excellent. However, I didn’t realize just how hot it gets, and unfortunately, I burnt my thigh while testing it on my pants while wearing them. It resulted in a significant burn, which was a big mistake on my part. It heats up quickly and is ready to use almost any time. It’s easy to fold making it great for travels. I highly recommend it! ... show more

  • Does what I wanted
I really do not know how to review this product actually because it seams like in 2024 a steamer of this nature is not really needed for the majority of the people. (I would not think). I actually got this on a whim because some times when I pull out a shirt out of the closet and I am leaving home, I think the shirt has too many wrinkles. I know, I am in the MINORITY hear, but I am a child of the Sixties. Today's people actually purchase the type of Jeans that I throw away so...I still CARE about how I look in public. Its a simple product and seems to put out a good amt. of steam. Never had one before, so I can not compare but it does a decent job. I like it, and I know those that may see me out and about will not be thinking what I think all the time "could this person find something decent to wear out in public or do they not care about what they look like" Yes, I am brutally honest in my opinions. Good product, it works and I am happy. ... show more

  • Hit or miss
This does a pretty good job reducing T-shirt wrinkles, but struggles with deeper embedded ones in suits and what not. It’s not the most powerful but does help. The directions are a bit choppy and the cord is also a bit on the short side, but the biggest drawback is you can’t use tap water… which is silly to me because when you’re traveling you’re not carrying a gallon of distilled water around with you. Not ideal. ... show more

  • Perfect for traveling
This compact steamer is perfect for travel. It is very compact. It takes up very little space. However, it does a great job at relaxing the wrinkles in clothes when taking them out of the suitcase. It needs to be refilled with water frequently if doing a bunch of shirts all at once, but it does a great job and is much simpler than dealing with a real iron and ironing board in a hotel room. ... show more
