Very portable, quickly fills, and appears to be very well made. Did I mention that it’s quiet?? You can have a conversation while it’s running, no yelling necessary. And if it’s being used in the garage no one inside the house knows it. The only design issue is that the power cord is too close to the fins on the motor which obviously get hot. I’ve had this compressor for several months now and I am very happy with it. My previous compressor was a pancake style compressor and it was very loud, over 100 decibels. Using a decibel meter on my iPhone, which I don’t know how accurate it is, but this compressor is around 70 decibels. It is very quiet. I can stand right next to it and have a normal conversation. Over the past few months I have had no issues with it. it takes about 90 seconds to go from empty to full. Controlling the amount of pressure going to the hose is very easy to adjust. When using it and it needs to fill back up, it takes around 15 seconds to fill back up. I use the compressor with several different nail guns, for blowing dust off equipments, and for pumping up tires and balls. It has worked great with all of them. I've done a lot, and I mean A LOT, of research watching tons of videos posted by kind and helpful YouTubers hoping to find the perfect compressor for my basic needs. I got lucky and found a great price through Amazon Warehouse because the mount was damaged which I easily repaired. The weld connecting the engine to the mount failed for the previous buyer (maybe they were rough with it, that's why I got mine half priced) and I can see this being an issue for low reviewers and rightly so. However once repaired this compressor is absolutely perfect for the weekend diy'er. Plenty of compressor power even at this small size. It is very heavy but the wheels and telescoping handle makes portability extremely easy. Most important--it is absolutely dead quiet! You don't want to have an obnoxious loud unit bothering the neighbors (and your own hearing), you can easily maintain a conversation while this thing is on. Whether you get lucky with a deal or not this is one impressive unit when compared to other compressors in this price range. Those on a limited budget looking for bang-for-the-buck will find this to be a perfect buy. ... show more

    • Great, but developed a leaky regulator valve.

The compressor itself is great. Don't get me wrong. I love it's capacity, as well as the stealth quality. The sound really is noticeably quieter than I am used to. I use a small radio while I'm working on my car, and can still hear it over the compressor with it being less than 5 feet away. Really quite. However, the regulator had a leaky valve. It did not show up for a few months, but it seems that it had developed a small leak in the pressure regulator, right at the joint where the hose pressure display is located. I was able to take it apart incredibly easily, and simply tighten the fitting back down. It fixed the issue, and have had no further issues. So as long as you are like me, and don't mind a bit of maintenance it's not a big deal. I read online that this is a common issue with this model. So just be aware of that. But I change my high pressure fitting anyway because I am pretty OCD. But great tank overall. I can recommend it. But understand the capacity limitations, it's size limits the capacity at any one time. more of a DIY around the house and garage, not so much at the worksite. That being said, it fills quickly, and even though it's running often, it is incredibly quiet. If you have it in another room, you probably won't even hear it. Great stuff. ... show more
