Description

The 2U blanking panel mounts to a standard 19" 2 or 4-post rack to improve the organization and appearance of your rack, while maintaining easy access and airflow. This TAA compliant cooling rack panel adheres to the requirements of the US Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), allowing government GSA Schedule purchases. The tool-less filler panel is reversible, meaning it can be installed to open from either the left or right side for easy access to the inside of your rack, while still covering the unused rack spaces for a professional look. The perforated rack panel is made of high-quality steel for long-term durability, plus the vented design allows for unobstructed airflow through your rack. This really did the job for my home made rack. I really like being able to get inside with enough room for my handto reach wires and stuff. The only suggestion I can think of is a better catch on the pull side. Right now the hinged portion kind of limps downward a little bit. I got this to cover the rear of my road case and to put some fans on it for additional cooling, I’d say it does the job with a decent hinge and good latch but it has one major flaw. It can’t handle any force at all. Out of the box it was slightly bent tp where it couldn’t even latch. It was semi easy to bend back but I wouldn’t recommend to use in a road case that’ll see any abuse on stage because if you open it wrong and have the slightest bit of twist or any pull other than just soft straight out, it’s gonna bend. For a server or studio rack it’s great tho. I intend to use it until it completely gives out and then I’m gonna get a different panel yo replace it. It’s good, but not great. ... show more

I'm pleasantly surprised with this little contraption. The spacing is perfect for 19" rack (go figure) and is only secured to one side so it's completely reversible. Cleaned up my living room av rack while maintaining high accessibility. Glad these kind of doodads exist!

I was expecting a much better built and design at this price range, but the product is a bit flimsy and light. Also since there are bent edges on the top and bottom sides, the panel won't close easily if you don't have a perfect 4U space, which is almost never! Even when I loosened the screws of the top and bottom devices and tried to push them farther apart and fastened them, this panel still had difficulties closing.
