I like everything about this except it's ability to produce heat which is the main reason to buy this unfortunately. I have to sit just inches away from it to feel warmth from it. It is very short, 2.5 ft maybe, and only emits heat about 2ft from the floor so you have to almost wrap yourself around it if you're using it outside. Inside it may heat 12sqft but not out. The temperature I've been using it in is in the mid 30s to 40s. It has come in handy inside, we just had puppies and I've used it next to their box and it does keep them warm. The make is nice, I feel like it is very good quality. It's very easy to use, an on off switch at the base and a power button on top. It heats up very quickly and I feel safe using it, although it is very lightweight and could be tipped easily. I imagine that's why it has the auto shutoff when tipped. Personally for what this does the price is way too high. I had high hopes and I was disappointed. ... show more

Spring evenings may never get cold enough to maximize the use of this heater but the heater does get pretty toasty. It's small though so if you have a big backyard, as I do, you will need at least 3 or 4 to keep it cozy. I love that it's infrared heat especially with children running around we don't have to worry about anyone getting burned by touching it. It also shuts off automatically if it gets knocked over. For this pricepoint I was expecting it to be bigger but it's still pretty effective for its diminutive size ... show more

This patio heater is much smaller than I had envisioned (and yes I read the measurements). It doesn't radiate a lot of heat and it just feels super small (depending on your patio size). You have to be right up close to it for it to feel warm. I think if I had a smaller patio or if I had several of these, it might be better, but the single unit doesn't do much outside. ... show more

I got this for my garage so I could warm up my little gym in the mornings. I have to say, this thing is super fast at heating up the area, and this is for a three car garage! I was highly impressed with how well this worked. Great price, amazing results
