I bought this tarp to make a small shaded, waterproof area on one side of the house. It was exactly the right size and inexpensive - this is just a plastic tarp and the eyeholes are metal, so the material tears easily. However I will say it is very waterproof and I would give it 5 stars for that.

    • These tarps are not the color as they appear in the listing.
The tarps are almost black in color not green as in the listing photo. they are also very thin material. Some of the grommets are missing or fell out when I first used them. Some of the edge protectors were misaligned with the hole. I needed something to cover a fence area right away or I would have returned them. Bought two of these - this 6x8 and a larger one. Used to cover wood pile and one draped/hanging as a wall. Out of the bag one eyelet was bent. When tying down, one of the "re-enforced" corners tore out. I only snugged it down, not even tight! After four days three others ripped out. Very cheap material, cheaply made. ... show more

It's basically the same tarp that you can buy at any hardware store but the attachment points are stronger than the cheap brass-colored grommets on most tarps. And ordering on-line kept me out of one more store in these days of COVID.

The color in the picture was green, which is what I wanted. The product is actually jet black. I'm disapointed because the only reason I ordered this one was so it would blend in better in the woods. other than that it seems like a standard tarp

    • Great trap for tent protection
The trap is thick and dark green. The thickness help me while tenting/camping. I placed it under the tent for protection from the water.

Hard to see from the pic because the tarp is somewhat reflective but there is not really any contrast between the black reinforced corner and the tarp itself. I thought it was sent in error so I was sent another one but it looks identical so just note that the "green" is not the same as what is pictured on the site. So far it is a good tarp but I don't have anything too challenging planned for it given the price. ... show more
