One of our bedrooms has been turned into an office, however, there are days my wife works from home and on those days we needed a 2nd desk. She doesn't like sitting all day and enjoys standing up for periods of time and were looking for a simple sit / stand desk. This met our need at a half or third the price from other brands. It is simple to assemble, all parts are properly labeled and the assembly manual. The desk, once assembled, provides plenty of surface space for a laptop and a second monitor, among other smaller Knick knacks. The controller has a programmable sit and stand button, to quickly adjust to the height you choose for sitting and standing, and for the non-regular user, it does have manual up and down to adjust it to a different height. It also comes with two plastic hooks, to hand a back pack or headphones, or another item. They are plastic so I'm sure their is a weight limit they can handle. The desk feels sturdy and balanced. This is a nice, sturdy adjustable height standing desk from TIQLAB. Desk works great and feels solid once assembled. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the desk top is not one solid piece of MDF. It is two pieces held together by 4 dowels and 3 small metal plates. I am sure the desk top is this way because it is flat-pack furniture, meaning it comes with lots of pieces and you need to put it together. The good news is that the institutions booklet is clearly written and illustrated. Each piece is clearly labeled. All the tools you need for assembly are included. I did use my electric screwdriver (with a Phillips screw driver head and an Allen wench head) to speed up assembly. I forgot to time myself, but I am guesstimating that it took me about 45 minutes to assemble. It is simple to put together, but just takes time. If you are successful putting together IKEA furniture, you will not have any problems with this desk. Desk moves up and down smoothly. You can push one button for it to rise to its full height, another button for it to lower to its lowest height, an up arrow so the desk raises to a desired height and a down arrow for lowering it by intervals. I like that you have a choice between standard feet and locking castors. I went with the castors and the desk is very easy to roll around. All four castors lock in place, so sturdy once locked. I am using this as my sewing/craft table. I love that I can raise this desk for cutting out fabric – no more sore back from bending over while cutting. I was worried that the desk top would not be overly sturdy for my heavy sewing machine (and the vibrations sewing machine can cause while using) because of the 2-piece top. Top feels very sturdy while I am sewing – no shaking or vibrations. Great desk that rises and lowers smoothly, I just wish top was one solid piece. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Assembly was rather easy, but just pay attention to which side you mount the motor. Plan ahead! Desk is sturdy and a beautiful maple color. Design is more modern, but could easily fit in with a variety of decor styles. Easy to adjust to height. In fact, this is my favorite feature of the desk.
