I can not stick to an exercise program to save my life. One day I decided that it was because I just wanted to lay down to work out. This machine has helped me greatly! It was easy to assemble and I love the fact that it folds up. I like that it automatically come with 3 different "weight"/tension cords and a fold out poster of the different exercises you want use. I'm the kind of person who just likes to tinker with things and not stick to a specific boring routine, and this let's me crawl all over the place and do all the things however I'm feeling. I was most excited for the leg exercises since I have a lot of energy and tend to pace often. Being able to do squats laying down and jumping/rebounding without the gravity has been phenomenal because I'm still working out and it's something I can stick with. The only thing I don't like about it is that the shoulder pad things are uncomfortable to me... the foam is too hard and I'm not sure this company makes an alternative. I will end up getting creative and sewing something to fit around it. Other than that I'm super happy to just be jumping and stretching and bounding away until I get the energy out! ... show more

Great bang for your buck! It's fairly easy to assemble, but a tad heavy. Easy to use and adjust the settings. Get a great workout without having to go to a pilates studio!

    • Great value for the money, only three springs
I love this machine and it has saved me during the pandemic. I wish I had known that there are only three bands/springs. That means that your ability to adjust the amount of weight or tension is limited. It comes with three black bands which is for leg work and typically you use one black band for arm work. But if your arms are weak or you have an injury (some moves are hard for me), I need a lighter band. My legs are really strong, I wish I could do some leg work with something harder than the three black bands. You can order other bands, but you only have three spaces to put the bands so the ability to have nuanced weight is limited. You can pay more for one of their fancier machines and have more springs/bands, but I was not aware of that when I ordered this model. So if you plan on keeping this for a long time, or if you are an advanced user, you may want to shell out the extra money for a model with more bands as you can only use three on this machine. Pilates class was running about 95.00 a month. I can do everything on this machine as I would in class. Smooth motion and glide, I’m 5’6” and it’s the perfect size. Comfy and was easy to put together.

I've been doing Pilates for over 20 years and had owned an expensive reformer. Prefer this little unit. Easy to use. Folds if necessary. Compact and simple. Like the stationary bike that I bought from Amazon a few years ago, I use the reformer daily. Can't believe that I didn't have to pay much more to get a machine that fulfills all of my needs. If you need a Pilates box for placing on top of the reformer, check widths. This machine has a narrow bed and has limits for height adjustments. Not suitable for anyone very tall or short bc the machine doesn't have the ability to adjust the length of distance between the bed and foot bar. Also has only three levels of tension. I'm 5'5" and normal weight and it's perfect for my size. ... show more

Be aware of the return policy. The AMAZON will not pay for the return and the company will charge you $400 dollars to return the product via UPS . I was very disappointed , The table was not sliding well and the hands fell apart, The springs were not color coded . Unable to use it and unable to return ! ... show more

    • A little difficult to use
I was happy to find a Pilates device at a reasonable price. I wanted it mainly to lie on to stretch my hamstrings and to do leg presses. I am a shorter man at 5' 7" and I barely fit in the space available when I lie on the device. The shoulder pads press hard into me as I go back and forth. It was a bit difficult to put together but I figured it out. The ropes press into my arms when I extend them. I am glad that I bought it but I can't say that it's comfortable or easy to use especially for an older person. I am 66 y/o. There are so many different stretches that I haven't tried yet. If you are a tall person, I don't see how you could use this product but maybe there are adjustments that I am not aware of. ... show more

100% recommend. I am so happy with this purchase. With the pandemic, I can no longer go to my pilates classes. This reformer has saved my life. I am able to continue my pilates, and it has truly brought me so much peace in this crazy time. Obviously it’s not a $5000 reformer, but it has all of the basic functions that you’d need. The price of it is great, it’s less than one month at my pilates studio. I definitely recommend and only wish I had bought it sooner! It is quite heavy so probably not ideal to move it around much but it does have wheels, which I find to be a nice touch. ... show more
