  • Not perfect, but happy with the purchase
I recently purchased a ELBIT XLSH and 1900 FOM, it was my first monocular and a great entrance into night vision I bought it secondhand, but like new for 2500. I was super satisfied with my purchase and showed my family. My mom liked it so much she bought it. I used that and put it towards this one. This was $4100 after taxes. So $1600 more for better specs. Was it worth it? For a casual enthusiast, no. You will not notice a significant difference. For a more involved use/night operations, yes. The overall specs were better, and my FOM was higher with this. I have the budget to afford the difference, so it’s worth it. If the price difference is a big deal, then stick with the lower spec. Overall happy with the purchase. Only caveat, this mono wasn’t spot free like my cheaper version. There were VERY small spots (not enough to even register on the spec sheet). But enough to notice in high lumen areas. 10/10 ... show more
