  • Excellent product
I have been using this solar panel for 4 months on a deer camera with rechargeable batteries. Have not had to touch the batteries at all. Still shows 100%. I get unlimited pics so its well used but using the solar panel it has been a relief and saved money on lithium batteries

  • I've tried them all. This is the one to have cell game cams.
Buy it. I recommend it. First of all, this thing is big. I don't know the exact measurements but it is about 12"x12". I have tried all of the $40-$50 solar batteries for my game cams and most worked pretty well, I just had to make sure I had the correct voltage (either 6v or 12v). This unit does 6v, 9v, and 12v out. It comes with all of the cords for each voltage. It also includes a DC charger to use before you put it out in the field. Here is the best part: It has a 15,000mAh battery capacity. Yes, 15,000mAh!! All of my previous smaller ones had anywhere from 1800 to 2600mAh. 15,000mAh allows me to run my cell trail cams to send pics to my phone immediately ALL OF THE TIME. I don't have to wait every 6-12 hours to get pics. Pretty cool. So it is big and heavy which is out of necessity because of the capacity. This makes it a bit of a challenge to mount it to a tree. The battery comes with a pretty neat mounting bracket that screws into a tree, but after using it, the bracket is average. Maybe I'm just not using it right but it is pretty intuitive. Bottom Line - Stop being a tight ass and buy it. It's worth the money. You won't have to worry about your cam going dead from lack of power if there are heavy clouds or it rains for 4-5 days. I highly recommend that you use a security cable to lock it to a tree because if people see it, this thing will get stolen! ... show more

  • It's good
This is a good game cam battery pack, considering it's just a Herd 360 with less power for the same money. I'd recommend the Herd 360, and support the guy who actually designed and invented it.

  • Works well on 1 Spypoint LM2 camera
Installed in the field facing the south sun. Has been working for 3 months now and always holds a 100% charge even through the night averaging over 50 photo's in a 24 hour period. We've had solid clouds and rain for 4 days now and batteries are still 100%. Would like to install another device on this panel to see what it's capable of but very pleased with this unit. Nice not to worry about batteries as my lease is over an hour away. Would definitely recommend purchasing this unit. ... show more

  • Great Solar Panel and battery
Have this on 2 game cameras and it saves over $200 a year on lithium batteries. I don’t need to go to the cameras unless I want to adjust or move them.

  • It’s garbage
I’ve used this thing a few times, but I’m shocked by how much it cannot hold a charge with intermittent trail cam use. I’ve also tried other low draw cameras as well and this thing needs to be charged before placing it in the field. Then, after a day or two it doesn’t hold any charge at all. Defective trash and a complete waste of money. ... show more

  • About time something from spypoint works.
I have 12 covert cameras that are much better than the spypoint but for the price, decided to give these a shot. While I am not a fan of their cameras, this battery pack/solar panel is pretty cool. I have a flex that has been in the field for a couple of months now and so far, sends me daily pictures. We shall see. ... show more
