My boxer babe got an orange one for his birthday. He absolutely loved it. It does squeak like a traditional dog toy, but rather it sounds like a bird tweeting. There's a small square box in the belly of the toy. Also the neck is like a slight bungee so it gives a bit. It's easy to hold (by the skinny neck or the swinging legs) and my guy likes to fling it around. This is NOT a durable toy tho. My babe is not a toy destroyer but if yours is this is cute but nay may not last terribly long. It's not sewn tightly, something to note. I was lucky enough to find these at our local grocery store so he has an orange one and black. Then I found them here on Amazon so I ordered another one.     • Chirpie, here we come!!
My little dog's favorite toys are his "Chirpie's". We used to be able to find them at Kroger, and even though they were constantly running out of them, they decided to stop selling them. As a puppy, my dog was a bit hard on them with his chewing, so they had to be replaced fairly often. He seemed to get so much pleasure out them, that we just kept buying new ones when he'd chew them up. They would get PAST my sewing machine being able to help. I found these online and HOPED for the Orange one but since you can't PICK what you want, I had no clue which one would come. I ordered 2 and received two "Green" ones. OH, and my dog knows the difference in Orange Chirpie and Green Chirpie. But, I'm happy to have spares. ... show more

    • NO SOUNDS, NOT AS ADVERTISED
NOT WHAT IS ADVERTISED - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This is what is advertised - "These charming birds can sing two songs." Instead, they both have regular squeakers just like all other dog toys. Even the tags say the toy contains batteries. However, it only contains normal squeakers. I am returning these as this is false advertisement and these sellers are taking advantage of people by claimning to sell one thing, charging for it, then giving the customer a cheaper version that is not what is advertised. They are lying and hoping people will not notice and are cheating people. I bought two of these toys thinking it would be the same singing/chirping birds that we already had, but instead there is no battery and no bird sounds. One of my dogs loved the bird sounds in her old toy, but the battery is almost dead. I gave her one of these toys and she ran off with it then started to squeak it. She stopped and inquisitivly looked at it, then back at me. I then tried the other toy, and it was the same thing - a squeaker, no battery and bird sounds. She walked away from this new toy and grabbed the old one and made it play the almsot dead battery version of the bird songs. Not only am I disappointed for spending my money on something that is not what was advertised, but even my dogs are disappointed in them. Please do not waste your time on this. Perhaps these sellers used to include batteries in these, but they are not anymore. This is a waste of money and no one should do business with a seller that is going to be so low as to lie about dog toys. ... show more

This is my dogs favorite toy. Her old one stopped chirping and I couldn’t find another in the store. This is exactly the one she had. She loves to make it chirp. I purchased 2 hoping to get one orange and one black but received 2 orange. It would be nice to have a choice of color, but orange is what she had originally. ... show more

I love the chirping sound, quite adorable and so much more pleasant than to old squeaky toys. Sadly it does not last. Once my dog chews through the stuffing, the sound box and battery are son to follow. Still.. great while it lasts

    • Can be very dangerous for pets - Supervise at ALL times
She loved it and so did I. Fun to her my dog make it chrip. The chirping is enjoyable compared to other toys. However, the plastic guts/parts inside that make the chirping, breaks easily, it has small springs, 3 batteries, computer chip, wires and other parts. Once broken they are all over in the toy stuffing. I had to cut it open take it all out and stitch it back up. Only lasted a day or two before CRUNCH...dead birdie. Definitely not for a major CHEWER more for a nibbler but, either way, definitely SUPERVISE AT ALL TIMES. ... show more

Precious bird that chirps when pressed. My dog is in love with these!! She & the other dogs eventually tear them up, pulling the stuffing & the "chirp box" out. So, there is a danger of ingestion for a dog who would eat the plastic box & the batteries contained in it. We just keep back-ups & throw them away when they tear them up. The price is right & they are great fun! The bird's neck is long so 2 dogs can "tug of war". Update: I am back for more! I am still buying back-ups. My little dog is in love with these birds. They last longer now that my other dog has stopped tearing them up so quickly! Eventually, though, one of the dogs will chew the head off & I'll replace it with one of the backups. ... show more

    • Seams ripped
Brand new toy and noticed my dog taking out the stuffing well the back seam was not sewed shut. Hopefully I can fix it but shouldn’t have to on a new toy
