Bought for my anxious 50# dog when he is in the car. Specifically bought it to be a "tight" fit for him as big crates toss him around in the car and he gets super upset. Turns out he loves it and when we bring it inside from the car, he'll curl up in it before we can fold it up and store it!! Pros: lightweight, compact when folded, easy to fold, cute color, sides are half vented at (top) top & solid (bottom) on 3 sides, making dog feel secure but provides circulation. Door is metal w easy to use lock. Our anxious pup loves it and lock is very eaay to engage and secure, but if u have an escape artist or super heavy chewer I could see them manipulating it to escape. This is durable for day to day use but not rugged, if that makes sense. Overall, best crate we've purchased (and we've purchased a lot!) Prior metal one was sooooo heavy and not aesthetically pleasing. :) To be aware of (not really a "con"): there is a small crack in a corner but it doesnt affect the structure stability so we didnt report it to seller... didn't notice it until a couple days after we used it and it was 1st time we used it in the car and maybe we were a bit rough as we reclined the seat back to hold it in place for our (super) anxious dog. ... show more

I have a little 11 pound chihuahua/rat terrier mix. She's a rescue from TX in an bused/hoarding/ backyard breeding situation. The minute I even got this out of the box & just had the top sitting in place ... in she went. The crate she came with from TX was just a tad bit too small for my liking for her. She loves this one & can easily walk around in it & dig her blanket up & make it her own cozy little nest. I'm going to say she loves it ... because the door is always open on it & she's in & out all day. I AM NOT A TRAVELER, so I have no need for all the nuts/bolts/wheels, etc., but will certainly keep them "on file" if I ever need to change it. Well made, easy to put together after watching the video -- the "latch" thingies threw me off not realizing there were "snap in" things to click into (and hard push to get them) ... after that -- it's done. I got this for my new corgi puppy to help transport him home and also for our initial vet visits. I love that it comes with containers for food and water already that can hook onto the door and stay in place. But my favorite feature are the removable wheels. I’ve gotten so many compliments on this carrier from friends with pets and my vet. They don’t see a lot of carriers with wheels. It makes it so much easier to move my puppy along, especially as he has gotten older and gained more weight. I also love that there’s windows on both sides of the crate so that way when he’s inside, he can see me. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Worth the money. ... show more
