We bought this for a dog of ours that has got to agressive to be in out house with our other dogs. I sugest the larger one if u have a dog bigger then a corkie. This is just the right size for our small xl bullie. It took my boyfriend 2 hours to put it togther. We plan to lay a concrete slab under it for easy cleaning. The tarp at the top is good quality. Its not too heavy so if u had a large dog i sugest to anchor it down. The door is easy to use. closes and shuts with no issue. All and all i would buy again. I purchased this for my dog as an outdoor playpen. I was really nervous about purchasing this because there were scary negative reviews. there was also reviews that mentioned it was a pain to get a return processed. I purchased it anyway and wished for luck. I was pleasantly surprised when my item arrived. 1. It was two days early 2. It came with all the pieces the same size, quantity and quality- no broken pieces. 3. It came with complete instructions After assembling I put my dog in the crate. I love it. Here’s why 1. The panels are all welded and assembled prior to arrival. While it’s not made out of a heavy duty metal it has sturdy enough panels where my dog can’t press up against the cage and wiggle out the bottom. 2. It was super easy to put together. 3. It’s not ugly. Some warnings *Bigger dogs and rambunctious dogs beware. It could probably hold a toddler but not a dog who is in a frenzy. * it was pricy but after I shopped around this was the best priced one. I feel it could be a little cheaper or the quality could be improved to a more sturdy quality for the price I paid for this pen. You may want to purchase zip ties, steaks to stake the fence down. Paint to repaint or give a thicker paint job on the fence. ... show more

Using in our garage for kittens. Very easy assembly. Wouldn’t expect this to last long outside or with a rambunctious dog/puppy. It’s just not that heavy duty but works great for smaller animals.

    • Missing parts and no love
The order came with out the bungee cord tie downs. We contacted the seller several times and have not been made whole. The true nature of a company's integrity is dealing with problems. So we are going elsewhere and spending more for a needed second kennel because of this. I'm sure mosts order will be fine, but if there is a problem be ready to solve it on your own (much like Tesla...) Miscellaneous Debris: Product is fine: some surface rust after a good rain, but for the price that is to be expected. It serves our needs just fine. Now our canine friend does not try and break out so I can't speak to how solid it really is. We used our own bungees to hold the cover down which also services. ... show more

Bought this cage for my two German Shepherds last summer. First off it is big enough to hold both but not much moving room. Mainly used to lock them up while doing yard work. It was easy to put together. But upon handling it realized was not as sturdy as its advertised. The First dust storm we had the cage came up from ground and flew across the yard and the side of cage bent. The waterproof cover definitely CAN NOT survive the weather (sun & rain damage). Was very disappointed to know they do not sell replacement parts. When I reached out to company to ask about purchasing a new cover as mine has ripped apart I was told they do not sell replacement parts but to feel free to purchase another cage from them. I definitely will be purchasing another cage but just not this one. ... show more

Only because I really can't imagine a Porche of Dog Kennels. But seriously, this dog kennel has everything you could need, while looking clean and classy. The manufacturer took into account the specific needs of pets and owners. Reasons why this dog kennel stands above the rest: 1. Square chain link is better on dog's paws than diamonds or other shapes. And when the purpose is a second home for your dog, considering his best interests are important. 2. It's black instead of silver. For some reason, black just looks so much better. It's clean and slick and doesn't look like you just chained off part of your yard for the dog. 3. It comes with a tarp to shade your dog from the sun or protect from the elements. Huge bonus that I didn't have to go hunting for a cover. 4. Ample space to move and play for a single dog. They have different sizes available but we went with 4x8 for a single dog, which has been perfect. One thing that could be seen as drawbacks for some people is that the height in the middle is 6' but where you have to walk in through the door is only 5' which means most people will have to duck their head to walk in. At 5'5" and as someone who only walks into my dog's kennel once a month or so (he isn't out there that often and I leave food and water right inside the door), this is not an issue to me. But for someone taller or someone needing to regularly go in to clean out the kennel it could be a deal breaker. Other than that, we have loved it! Easy to put together, easy to move and easy to use.     • Nice Pen, Not for Escape Artists
This was fairly easy to assemble and set up. I put it up on a flat level concrete pad, so that helped. My little Aussie isn't a fence climber or escape artist, so it suits him for the purpose of an outdoor area during the day (I set it up next to the house so that he can use the doggie door to come and go into the covered breezeway). I ended up wiring the outside kennel door shut because it is particularly flimsy and doesn't fit tight. This would not keep an aggressive climber or escape artist in, but is nice for a little hang out spot for non challenging dogs. I think it would also be easy to dig under or push under if not on a non yielding surface. ... show more
