UPDATE: The company reached out to me on Sunday after reading my review and offered a full refund AND a free replacement of the splash pad. The new one arrived on Monday, less than 24 hours after the initial message. This was top notch customer service, so my 2 star review turned into a 5. Thanks, Mel! We live in Arizona, where the summer days are hotter than the sun. This seem like the perfect birthday gift for my daughter. Susie from the busy toddler recommended it, so I could hardly refuse. The assembly was a little harder than what I expected, and some water would still spray out from the side. Not that big of a deal though. But what gets me is that not even two months later, the thing is busted on the side. It was definitely well loved this summer, but I’m bummed that we couldn’t even make it through a whole summer without this thing breaking. If you have a toddler like mine, who falls apart when things break apart, avoid this for a birthday gift. And I would also say, the return window is incredibly short compared to most products. Had I seen that, I would have looked somewhere else. If I could do it again, I would’ve gone the way bigger one from Costco, and could return it if some thing like this had happened. ... show more

I really need to start looking at a tape measure before I make a purchase. My grandsons seem to really like this splash pad though. The planet pictures are nice. The water doesn't spray as much or as high as the product photo but that's fine, the boys stay wet & cool. I'm waiting to see how long we can go before we need to use patches. I'll update on durability later. I hope that this lasts longer than the one I bought last year. It feels more pliable. ... show more

EDIT: Amazing customer service. A while ago we returned this product and were refunded. Today we got a package from the splashez company with a replacement! The replacement had a connector that does fit and we are floored. To top it off they sent these great little waterproof alphabet cards. The package included a letter that said they were sending these items to us to make it right and they hoped we would change our mind about the company. Needless to say I am impressed. I would absolutely do business with them again and do recommend the product! Changing my review to 5 stars to reflect that. Feeling bummed because the connector for this splash pad did not fit our hose. The threads would thread but we could not tighten it all the way so the connector would leak. I really wanted this to work too. The design is great and has lots of animals and things to point at. Maybe this will help others. We got our hose at a local Lowe’s and it is a typical hose that would be found in the USA. It has never had any problems being used with other items I have purchased. I will return this one and purchase a different brand, instead :( ... show more

The local beach is closed due to the pandemic, so I got this for my kids to play and keep cool! They really liked it and ask me if they can "splash around the world." And while this is no flaw of the product itself, two things to keep in mind is that this hooks up directly to the hose so: 1. it is VERY cold! The box shows pics of infants sitting calmly in the pool under sprinklers, but I would think a baby would freeze in this immediately and my two sons (6 & 3) were challenging each other to see how long they could stand in it before jumping into another little wading pool I had set up next to it so they could warm up . My 3 year old's lips turned blue eventually and my 6 year old didn't want to play in it the next day because it was too cold. And 2. It uses a lot of water. You are continuously pumping water into it from the hose, but unlike a sprinkler, the nearby grass and plants don't get the benefit of the water. So the constant flow of hose water makes this cold and not "green," but this was fun and something different to play with on a hot day. It worked well for my attempt to create a "water park" in the backyard since everything is either shut down or too unsafe for my comfort during this summer of Covid-19. ... show more

Super cute design, BUT it leaks! Water pours out of the spout—and not from where it’s screwed in (which is super hard to do) but from where the screw spout attaches to the plastic. It’s just a really pour design because it comes of the TOP of the inflated area so it’s always torqued by the hose. Our previous splash pad like this last for almost 2 years before it’s seam busted. This one has lasted about 4 uses. Not worth it, buy a different brand. ... show more

Got this for my dogs. Bigger than I expected, which is nice. However, the place you connect the hose to should be more on the side not top. The second we turned on the water ( on low at first) it just sprayed out of the connection. We had to jerry rig the hose over the top of a chair to keep it strait with the least amount of spray where it connects. Not worth the $$ spent. ... show more
