Up at the country estate, I needed to install some plumbing and a septic system. This baby was so simple to use and came with everything I needed to set the slope and grade. All of the items were of good quality and sturdy including the tripod. Easy to set up and use. I like the case with all inclosed so I can grab and go. I installed the batteries that came with the unit. (4 D size) and was using the level in minutes. I have multiple projects coming up that this level is going to make it very easy for me.(1 man show) This will be like a 3rd arm as I usually don't have help here on the farm. I purchased the magnetic receiver holder which now I can use with the excavator. so far very good for this laser level. I couldn't find on Amazon a combo of the kit with rechargeable batteries and the charger. So I purchased the charger for this model and 4 batteries from Amazon. The charge was correct but the full charge batteries would not turn on the unit (4 D- 5000mh). So I returned those and purchased 4 more (D-15000 ah) and after a full 24 hours on the charger that came with the batteries, they would not turn on the unit. Online I for an image of a kit with the rechargeable batteries and they were 5000 ah. I will contact Spectra to see what may be the issue. The case looks like it can carry a rifle so this is a jobsite only ise, it’s not allowed in nyc subways So we use. The older ones for that- but it comes with everything you need- we put them jn our c box and it’s always readyy
