Tried to hang something the otherday only to realize it wouldn't light up.....went into replace the batteries and found significant damage to the plstic and battery contacts so I went out to look for a replacement. This level has very strong magnets and will hold onto duct so you aren't worrying if it's going to fall off while installing materials. Have had 2 of these for 6+ months and use them daily at work as a pipefitter. The magnets are very strong and the light is bright. Holds up much better then the Swanson light ups I used to buy. Only con is the bubble. Sometimes if the magnet grabs and kinda snaps the level onto the material it will make the bubble break up. If you shake it it sometimes gets better or I'll just set it to the side and grab another one and in 10 or so minutes it gets solid again... it's kinda weird but i still like the level. My swansons would break in like 3-4 months. ... show more

I had never seen one of these in person so I was a bit surprised at the size when it showed up- was quite a bit bigger than the other Klein bubble levels I had seen at stores.
