  • Buy this! My daughter with autism finally sleeps!
Style: Twin Color: Blue
My daughter is 4 years old and has sensory processing disorder, autism, global developmental delay and is nonverbal. She has had chronic sleep problems (staying asleep!). We’ve tried medicines, melatonin, and a huge list of other things. She loves tactile input so I thought this would help give her enough compression through the night to stay asleep. And let me tell you: she’s slept through the night EVERY night since having this sheet (no meds, no melatonin). I wish I had ordered this 2 years ago!!! ... show more

  • Grown up review
Style: Twin Color: Blue
It appears that I'm one of the few adults who have tried this (not reviewing for their kids) so here are my thoughts as a grown up, having used it off and on for about 2-3 weeks. If I could give it three and a half stars, I would. It fit my bed well, took about 10 minutes of struggle to get on. The first night it was hard to figure out how to sleep under it, because the most resistance comes at the two ends. So, you have to make sure that you're okay with a bit of pressure wherever the sheet begins and ends, AKA try under your armpits and near your ankles. This of course depends on height. When I first used it, I thought it was supposed to go all the way up to your neck. Very uncomfortable. Bad idea. Once I figured it out a bit better, I found it fairly comforting. For a couple nights, I've had a bit of a hard time sleeping while using it, but I've always had a hard time adjusting to new bedding. On the positives, when I do use it and am able to sleep, I find that I wake up on the "right side of the bed" (a little better mood) a little more often. You really should be a back sleeper to use this. I've tried sleeping on my side, and woken up with my arm or leg feeling tingly because there was too much pressure on it. So, sleeping on your back is best so that the pressure is evenly distributed. Other than that, it is a really nice idea. Very breathable, soft, and if you dont want to use it (like if the top and bottom band create too much pressure), you can just get out and lay on top very easily, or curl up so that you're under it entirely. :) ... show more

  • We Love them!
Style: Twin Color: Blue
We ordered two sheets one for a 3 year old and me for a 5. Neither are on the spectrum. The older had been having trashing/crying dreams and we are suspecting anxiety. Since getting this blanket, she hasn’t been having nightmares and has been sleeping peacefully. My three year old has needed me in bed with him to fall asleep for years but almost every night since getting the sheet, I’ve been able to sit on a chair near his bed. The kids call them “huggy sheets” and it has made bedtime and nighttime better in our house. These sheets are pretty amazing. ... show more

  • My son with autism LOVES it!
Style: Twin Color: Blue
My 8 year old son with autism has a hard time staying still at night. He likes to wrap himself up like a burrito in his blankets but even then it would take him a long time to fall asleep. We tried weighted blankets but he'd only knock them to the floor. The sensory bed sheet is a bit difficult to slide onto the mattress but once its on, it's not going anywhere which is perfect for us. My son absolutely loves it! It has almost entirely eliminated his bedtime acrobats! He slides in under the tight compression sheet which is a breathable fabric that is very tight but he is still able to get in and out on his own. He has me pull it up to his shoulders and he snuggles in with a big smile on his face. He falls asleep within minutes with it when it would take him up to an hour without. If your child likes compression vests or clothing, is really restless at night and/or likes being wrapped up tight at night I would highly recommend trying this product. ... show more

  • Not enough pressure
Style: Twin Color: Blue
My 9 year old likes it because it keeps him covered as he tosses and turns, however he still needs weighted blanket. This goes on over fitted sheet, and must wrangle the mattress into. Not too difficult, but need space to maneuver the mattress as you wriggle and rotate. For us, it is great in combination with weighted blanket. It does prevent him from thumping into the walls all night. ... show more

Style: Twin Color: Blue
Just trying this out, but wanted to write a quick review at the beginning. My son has major sleep issues, (autism) I'm hoping this works. From the moment I put it on his bed he loved it. It's has a silky feel and very stretchy. Very light weight. Will update review on sleep. Before blanket: he wakes up multiple times a night and stays awake for hours some nights. Update: 1st night slept 9-6.. teacher said he had a way better then usual day after a good night's sleep. ... show more

  • This Is Amazing!
Style: Twin Color: Blue
We got this for our autistic daughter after installing a video monitor and seeing that she basically tossed and turned all over her room all night. She wasn't just tossing and turning in her bed. She would literally go under her fitted sheet and then toss and turn under it until it popped off and then move the mattresses all over the room in her sleep. After two nights of watching this and realizing it was a regular thing, we ordered this blanket. And it has absolutely transformed the quality of sleep she has. The first night I waited until she fell asleep and looked at the monitor to find her laying perfectly still under the blanket. In the morning I checked again and went over the night's recording and she'd stayed in her bed, not moving around, all night. It was a huge change from what her sleep was like before. I couldn't be happier with this blanket. So glad we tried it! ... show more
