This is pretty decent. I am not sure how long it will last, because it does not seem THAT strong. It is holding up pretty well, though. We had to use the drywall fittings, so it was nice that it came with some. It has plenty of room for most of the most-used tools. And it sure does make the space seem more organized. Really, the only issue is that I am not sure how long it will last. I would say it is of medium quality. It is not the cheapest, but it definitely isn't the best. Definitely made sure I mounted this on a stud because it is quite heavy and sturdy but it’s very functional. I keep all my powered hobby tools on it now. It was easy to assemble and install as it is very basic but I do appreciate that. It’s install is one step closer to getting my hobby room organized as well. ... show more

My husband was not thrilled with this shelving unit. He said it was a major pain to put together. He thought the shelves were all right, but that the holders for the drills were very thin and not supportive. He doesn't feel they will hold up over time.

    • Great if you have a lot of cordless tools
I do happen to have a lot of cordless tools--including several drills--but what I needed space for is all the batteries that come with the tools! Since I am not a purist who only gets one brand of anything and sticks to it come hell or high water, I have a lot of different brands of tools with proprietary batteries. This way I can group them together by brand and type instead of spending half the day searching for the correct battery for each tool.This organizer is nearly 3' wide and has three shelves above the area for drills, so I can fit at least eight rechargeable batteries on each shelf. That's a minimum of 24 batteries I can safely store where I can see them. (The shelf is actually wide and deep enough for probably double that amount if I allow them to be packed in there tighter and overhang the shelf a tiny bit.) As with most of these metal organizers (I already have, I think, six of these by different manufacturers, but none this wide) the design is simple, sturdy and relatively straight-forward to assemble. It will last my lifetime at least. If you have a lot of tools (and more importantly, a lot of batteries) do yourself a favor and get this organizer. It's worth it! ... show more

Exactly as pictured, but took a while to put together - 34 screws. Mounted perfectly in my garage with standard stud width. It is well made and priced decently. Would order again.
