Great filament dryer box! Really nice touch screen interface with a ton of filament options that take only a second to select and you're ready to rock! Holds 2 standard sized filament rolls and the rollers they sit on roll smoothly with no additional friction. 2 filament feed holes that can be capped when not in use plus a vapor release hole at the top. Lid latch locks the lid in place solidly. Overall the SH02 is a very nice filament dryer. The only things that I can say I don't like with this dryer is I'd love for it to be a little quieter. It's not super loud by any means but it is a constant fan/blower sound kind of like a high end PC. Perfectly fine if it's sitting on the floor or on the other side of your room. It can be a little annoying if it's sitting a few feet from you on your desk :D Some suggestions I would have for this unit is.. I'd love for 2 sets of filament feeder holes for each spool, 4 total. The 2 in the front at about 45 degrees up on the lid is perfect but a second set on the back at like 135 degrees would be great if you wanted to maybe run the filament more out the back without having to rotate the entire dryer around backwards (and thus making screen access difficult). Another thing I'd love to see would be a 4 filament roll version of this exact style dryer... so, pretty much, just wider with room for 4 rolls, and some additional maybe larger but quieter fans. Just an idea! :) ... show more

Sovol filament dryer works well and is easy to use. Sovol filament is a fair price and I’ve had no issues with brittleness, flow, clogging, bed adhesion, or temp issues. Ran at 200&65 and prints turned out well. Great colors. Love the orange and blue!

Bought the SH01 Filament Dehydrator for testing. When testing I looked at the function of the dehydrator compared to the advertisement listed on Amazon. Based on this I would give it a 5 star. It is exactly as described and functions well. I was able to get 15% humidity at 50c when leaving the latches unsecured. The directions are easy to understand and even advise to leave the lid propped open to allow moisture to escape. Positives – 1) Includes fan to circulate air inside the case. 2) Can be used as a storage box when closing off holes using attached plugs. 3) Easy to program. 4) Good quality build. 5) Easy to understand directions. 6) Large dryer, can dry two rolls at one time saving cost of two dryers. I gave it a 4 star based on the following factors. 1) Temperature is 40, 45, or 50. However, this may be a good feature for many. It was not a factor for me as I run my other dehydrators at 50c. 2) Timer can be set from 6 to 12 hours. Would like to see at least 24 hours. 3) The holes for feeding filament are on top. Would be good to have holes in the front also. It will not work as well if you mount the dryer above your printer as it will lead to filament binding in the holes. This will be an easy fix by drilling two holes in the front and inserting Pneumatic Fittings. However, this will take away from using as a storage box and may void warranty. 4) The bottom gets hot while using. Found some feet on Thingiverse you can print to raise it which will help with this issue. Sovol 3D - DUAL Filmanet Dry Box Stand Off 5) Takes a while for the temperature to raise to set value. This may be due to it being larger and holding 2 rolls of filament. Overall – This is a quality dryer and will make an excellent standalone dryer for filament. When placed beside the printer it will also work to keep filament dry when running long prints. Would highly recommend to use with a dual head printer. ... show more

I've been told over the years that I needed to buy a filament dryer but I've resisted due to cost and only being able to dry one spot at a time but now that I've gotten this one I wish I would have gotten one earlier . In the pictures you can see a before and after . The filament I used was some of the oldest filament that I own so I wanted to see how well it would revive it and wow was I surprised after just 8 hours @ 50c in the dryer the filament wasn't brittle anymore. Pros Able to dry a variety of materials Can dry up to 2 spools at one time Can print directly from the machine. Bright and easy to read, use and understand touchscreen Cons I wish it came with desiccant to replace in the dryer. I wish the fan was a bit quieter. I wish the rollers to feed the filament while printing from the box were a bit more smooth . ... show more

I purchased this to be able to dry 2 rolls of filament for my 3D printers. This is especially important for the PETG that I use as well as the PLA, I do not use ABS. As stated in the "About this Item" information on the Amazon site, it cycles back and forth between the Temp/Humidity and drying time. The first time that I turned this on I was quite concerned because I could smell the electrical smell. I turned it off and checked it out to make certain it was ok. I think that it was just getting rid of that "new" smell. I turned it on again and programmed it for 6 hours of drying time. The "Work" was showing on the unit, but it shut off after 6 minutes. So I tried it again, and it seems to be working ok now. There is just a simple small piece of paper for the instructions. Most filament dryers are fairly intuitive and this is one pretty ease to understand as well. You are able to use the filament direct from the dryer to your 3D printer, but I don't do that. The unit is lightweight coming in a 3.65 lbs. I had nice sized footprint 9.69x 6.89 x 9.53". I have the white model and I feel it looks nice. I'm pretty happy with this purchase. I hadn't thought of placing the desiccants into the dryer with the filament. I like that idea as well. When the time is completed, it emits a loud beep telling you it is done. That is a nice feature as well. It is extremely quiet and I don't even notice it is on. ... show more
