  • Works GREAT and easy to install!
Color: Charcoal
These soundproofing acoustic tiles work GREAT! We recently relocated and are living in an apartment. We have two pet birds... one of which can be VERY loud. As we had never lived in an apartment setting with them before we were worried about possible noise complaints. We did what we could and picked an end unit so we only had one neighbor and common wall. We also put the birds as far from that wall as possible. We thought all was good until coming home one day we could hear the birds down the hall. They could be heard through the metal front door. We decided on the foam tiles to help dampen the noise in the hall and reduce some of the echo inside our apartment. These tiles worked perfectly and looked nice! I used the 3M Command picture hanging strips to attach them to the door. I used 2 strips per square as extra support since the door is open and closed multiple times a day. The acoustic tiles really do a great job on reducing the noise in our hallway as well as easing our fears of noise complaints. I made multiple orders of these as I wasn't sure how many I would need. The picture shows the door in progress. Big thanks for the great product and fast shipping! ... show more

  • They definitely improve sound quality, but don't fully soundproof a room
Color: Charcoal
I have a home studio for music production and live streaming. These absolutely improve the sound quality in the room, and dampen it so it's harder to hear loud noises on the other side of the wall where I placed them. However, 'soundproofing' is a bit misleading - they don't actually fully soundproof my studio. I know this because my neighbor yelled at me for being too loud at 3am, lol. I think I would need do buy like 30 sets of them for that to work and they're too pricey for me to do that. Nonetheless I'm glad I bought these because they really do help with echo reduction, dampening, and overall they do improve the sound quality on my streams significantly. 8.5/10. ... show more

  • Did the trick, in style
Color: Plum
I joined the fully remote workforce earlier this year and due to the nature of my work, I need to use a large external RAID that’s hooked up to a Dropbox server and OMG…it makes so much noise! I hate it, but it was the only solution for the huge amount of files I work with. “You’ll get used to it,” my colleague told me. But it was like sitting in a formerly quiet room next to a kid slurping up the remnants of a milkshake. I actually bought a long cable so I could move it outside of my office during the summer, but I knew I couldn’t keep it outdoors as a solution. So, I bought it back in and created a bit of soundproofing….but then at night, as the server updated files, we could hear it slurping away through the wall of our bedroom closet! As a Hail Mary, I decided to get acoustic tiles on the wall to prevent the sound from emanating through the walls and entering our usually stone quiet bedroom. I love my home office; it’s very stylish, so didn’t want ugly grey foam. So, I was delighted to find they sold them in various colors now. So, not only does it look good, but it works perfectly and we can sleep in peace. ... show more

  • Effective but dull color
Color: Rosy Beige
I plan to buy more because these work and I want my panels to match but the colors are so much more muted than shown in the picture. I have big doubts about the picture from the top rated customer review considering there's so many other reviews that talk about the coloring not being as shown. Anyways I took my own pictures with the flash on. Lighting will affect the coloring of course, but paying extra for something decorative that comes up short feels like a cheat. I bought pink and plum ... show more

  • Dense, quality acoustic foam
Color: Rosy Beige
Great acoustic foam, purchased these for my wife's setup. It has been almost 3 years and they are still looking great and staying up with a couple of 3M command strips. They arrived with some slight discoloration and some persistent creases, but they are not very noticeable and I had forgotten about those issues until writing this review. ... show more

  • Never got around to testing, my OCD couldn't handle it.
Color: Teal
I thought the colour was great which is why I went for this product in the end. I was going to get creative and do an interchanging diamond style' with them. (Picture provided) - After taking them all out, I noticed some abnormalities in the product. I live in a two bedroom apartment and these were going up in the living area, where anyone coming into our place would see them. They were going to be a display piece as much as they were going to be functional. Sadly they were not square enough to mount them without gaps or angles that didn't align. It looks great in their photos, but there didn't seem to be any quality control. Being that I would sit and face them from less than 2 feet away, it wasn't going to work, not after the price I paid. I had to send them back ... show more

  • Kills echo in home dance studio
Color: Rosy Beige
I bought the rosey beige for a home dance studio with a terrible echo. It was a bit of a gamble with the color, as our walls are also a beige-toned rose. Specifically, Sherwin Williams’ “Dressy Rose.” It’s a near perfect match. I used 8 panels to cover most of the inside of the door with it, and it noticeably reduces the echo. I bought two more packs to finish off the door and add a few more panels below the barre. I think that will take care of the last bit of the echo problem. To other customers, I would say know your needs before you buy. I have never loved this type of foam as a soundproofing product - this isn’t as dense as what you’d find in a professional setting such as an editing booth, recording studio, etc, - but to kill an echo it’s great. ... show more
