I have had this for four months so far and have used it a couple of times a week. I did look at some more expensive options that might rise up a bit higher but otherwise have the same functionality and breathing room underneath the laptop. This one looks sharp, is sturdy, and I can raise it high enough on a desk/table high enough to have ideal screen height while using a separate keyboard and mouse with a 13 laptop. I have no worry whatsoever that the stand will fall apart or the laptop will drop. I love the swivel. The swivel is super light and easy. It's much harder to raise and lower but this is a good thing and it's not difficult. It just takes two hands to get it done unlike one little push of a finger for the swivel. It folds back to compact for storage if needed, which may also require two hands depending on how you have it angled when in use. It's a bit heavy for travel and probably would not take it with me unless I was going to be gone for an extended period of time and needed to do a lot of work -or maybe consider a lighter, more compact stand for travel. If it holds up well with consistent use for at least a year, I'll bump this up to 5*. ... show more

So many times, you buy something on-line and it turns out to be somewhat less than you expect when it arrives. This isn't one of those things. Instead, it is the rare item that seems better made and of higher quality than you expect it to be given the price. It is all metal and pretty solidly built, so it provides very stable support. If you need a stand to hold up your laptop so it becomes a monitor, this should do the trick, even if your laptop is reasonably bulky and large. For what I am using it for - to support a second, small travel monitor, it is honestly overkill. You could probably put even a big gaming laptop on this and it would hold it, although I haven't tried that. It is probably going to last forever. It is heavy so probably not the stand you want if you are traveling with it regularly, but if you need a stand that will just sit on your desk or table and rarely move, this one is fine. ... show more

This works great at holding my laptop and I-pad in place where ever I need it. love the adjustable stand and how it rotates side to side to accommodate my views. it is a little bit hard to open up and adjust but that's a good thing for it helps to keep it from collapsing and comes with a tool to loosen or tighten as needed. ... show more
