You cannot go wrong with this soundbar. After carefully reading and looking at the others, I saw this one and immediately added it to my cart. It has 6 speakers!!! 4 on the side and 2 on the top of it. The sound is amazing and the remote control is so easy to use and read. For my uses, this soundbar is definitely worth the money. It's a perfect fit for my Samsung Q60A 43" TV in terms of width. I have it connected via optical and have not tried it any other way. It's "big sound" compared to the TV speakers and I think the subwoofers are very adequate for what I need which is streaming shows. The tiny speakers on the TV were really inadequate and often made it hard to understand dialogue I can hear and understand most all of what is being said. If you're an audiophile or looking for high end, then this is probably not for you, and is why I give it a 4. It's a vast improvement over TV speakers and can easily fill the room with sound. I did plug a CD player, yes I still have them, into it and was pleasantly surprised at the sound. Again, not high end, but easy to listen to. Impressive. I did have a problem with the remote. I was only able to decrease the bass but could not increase it nor could I adjust the treble at all. Every other function worked fine. I contacted Vmaitech support and they responded immediately (on a Sunday!) and we did some back and forth and figured out the remote was the problem. The mailed me a replacement for free right away and I had it within just a few days and everything works great! They were so quick and accommodating and were very willing to give me a full refund it we couldn't figure out the problem. Quality products are important, but service is equally important to me and they we were very easy to deal with. For service, I would definitely give them 5 Stars! Hope this helps. ... show more

What's not to like ? i'm a pc gamer that games on my twin bed an this is perfect for it ..just wished that the company had more products out there ..i do know that Philips electronics is looking for clients to add to their contracts for the next 20 years

I purchased this VMAI X-bar soundbar on December 15, 2020. It was listed on the Amazon site as a “used, like new” item. After 2 months the soundbar began dropping the audio input via HDMI (ARC) which then required scrolling through each audio input capability back to HDMI (ARC) to restore the ARC sound. I contacted Amazon support on February 25, 2021 for assistance. It was suggested I contact the VMAI manufacturer to assist with the problem. VMAI then told me they could do nothing since the soundbar was ordered as used. On March 3, 2021 I contacted Amazon expecting to get an exchange. Amazon informed me I was beyond the return/refund date of January 31, 2021 and they could only accept a return if I paid a restocking fee or I accepted an account credit of 20% and kept the soundbar as is. They also suggested I contact the manufacturer for warranty repair if I decided to accept the credit. I took the credit and wrote to the manufacturer on March 3, 2021 using the email address provided by Amazon. My request to the manufacturer was for warranty support service available in the St. Louis area. Long story short, a week has passed and I have never heard from the manufacturer. I then found a web site for the manufacturer that told me nothing about support or warranty. My conclusion is there is no warranty support; even though on the Amazon web site is printed “VMAI US is committed to providing each customer with the highest standard of customer service.” I think the sound quality of this soundbar is good. That is the reason I give the system the few stars it gets. However, when a problem exists, if one cannot get support from the manufacturer, then you must question the product support. In this case I am stuck with a defective product. I would not buy a product again with the name VMAI and I will carefully consider future purchases through Amazon. UPDATE: I am still using this soundbar and it continued to drop the HDMI (ARC) audio on a regular basis and still required scrolling through all audio inputs to restore the HDMI sound, until today. Today the HDMI sound input quit working and nothing would bring the sound back via the HDMI. The only solution was to connect an optical cable and change the TV settings for sound output to Optical. This also caused loss of volume control with TV smart remote. This soundbar has been frustrating since day one. Should have purchased a better more recognized brand. ... show more

This soundbar is AMAZING! We have a projector (please don't mind all my wires, I suck at life) and needed something for better sound. I looked at quite a few on Amazon and eventually settled on this one. I was worried after reading some of the reviews but I'm SO glad I gave it a chance. It was easy to mount, my husband did it solo and it even came with a mounting template, and the sound is great. The subwoofers make horror movies so much scarier! The sound is clear (no crackling) and its very user-friendly. This is a great soundbar for the price. We've had for about 6 months now and have had no issues. I definitely recommend! WARNING: we did try to use just the Bluetooth with the projector, but the sound was a bit off from the picture. But, not to worry, we tried the optical cable instead and that works PERFECTLY! We do however use the Bluetooth to play music from our phones, tablets and the projector and the sound is wonderful. Perfect for parties and I love it for house work, cooking, cleaning ect. ... show more
