I bought these for a two year old birthday party and they were a hit. The lids had fun "popping" (they squeezed them until they burst open) and then refilled them. Yes, two years olds. The kids and adults also joined in on the fun, and started throwing them at each other. It got really hot in the afternoon, so we started filling the balls with melted ice cooler water. That felt great. After several hours of play by age range 2years-64years, they held up perfectly. Rinsed them out, laid them out to dry and bagged them up for next time. We got the 16 pack and it was plenty to keep a small group entertained. I do plan on getting more of these. And the best thing yet...... NO PLASTIC BALLOON PIECES TO PICK UP! These are clever, easy and fun water toys - however, I would highly recommend marking (Sharpie) any you bring to a public area to avoid not-so-neighborly confrontations. I brought 4 of these on our recent beach/pool vacation and moments after pulling them out to play our family was aggressively confronted on 2 separate days, 2 separate pools by different families accusing us of having taken their water balloons. It was rather unbelievable to me that in each case the children and their (grand)parents came over to insist that we had taken their water balloons. Each time I advised I bought them myself off Amazon and could should show receipt (not sure why each family thought these exist only for their own purchase LOL). The 2nd incident my daughter later found the other family's water balloon at the bottom of the pool but they had already stormed off (SMH). Additional tip - don't bring the clear one into a pool as they are very hard to find. Otherwise these are great and even my grandbaby loved just pulling one apart to watch it magically come back together. ... show more

I’m so glad I got these for the summer!! My kids love them and they work great! I love that they are reusable and easy to fill. Just don’t chuck them as hard as you can cause it will hurt a little. One did rip but I think that’s more cause it was thrown on the hard hot concrete around the pool. If you do play with them in the pool they will sink when filled. Just buy it it's worth it. they are very fun and they hold together they are easy to throw. they don't hurt and you will be soaked! the only trick is that you must fill this out of a body of water. That can be a bathtub, a 5-gallon bucket (this is my method) a pool, or really anything at is over 10"ish deep. you need the water pressure, that is what fills the balloon. ... show more

We have had so much fun with these water balloons. Here's what you need to know. They work great. The magnets don't hurt when you get hit. Little kids can figure out how to refill them pretty quick. Clear/white ones are impossible to find in the pool. No matter how many you order you're going to want more. Long hard throws will hit hard, and be painful but not as bad as a paintball or a snowball. A really fun game to play is toss and catch then take a step back, and repeat till it pops. The only word of caution I have is to take them out of the pool. The chlorine warps the plastic and makes it possible for the magnets come out and hurt when throwing. These things are AWESOME and worth every penny.
