Dash cams are becoming almost essential vehicle add-ons, as insurance rates go up, drivers seem to be less responsible, and the ability to establish one's account of any traffic accident can spell the difference in hundreds or thousands of dollars in liability cost. Fortunately, dash cams are coming down in price and going up in quality, IF you search for the best at your price point. After going through two other brands that were very disappointing, I bought the REDTIGER cam and have been very pleased with its performance. On high resolution, playback on my Android phone (download your recorded drives to your mobile device) is superb, with crisp detail even in low light conditions. The dual front/back cameras offer you nearly 360 degrees of coverage should anything impact you. BTW when your REDTIGER cam senses a jolt, it automatically saves that file so you are assured it will be available to you for any insurance or law enforcement purposes. Perfect quality camera. However, VERY difficult to install. Written instructions and videos were not easy to follow. Highly recommend having someone who understands electrical work to install as a couple of steps said to do something that would have shorted out my vehicle if done. Has an app to connect your phone to the camera so you can check the feed when not in vehicle, however, you have to keep connecting to the Wi-Fi of the camera EVERY single time. It does not stay connected. Very inconvenient. Hope that a future update will change that. The camera does work great and has a perfectly clear image. Also recommend purchasing a bigger SD card as the one that comes with it has a small memory. Still usable though. Overall, happy with this purchase. ... show more

Very easy to install. The camera quality is very good. Customer service is also fast and constructive. As for the cons, my car has a usb-c output for dashcams on the rear-view mirror. However, the power was not enough to operate the dashcam. I had to plug it into the cigarette socket. There are also things that need to be improved in the app. I can't access all the settings of the camera from the app. I can only access certain settings. As a result, it deserves its money to the end. Those who are thinking of buying a dash cam should definitely consider this. ... show more

    • Great, but wish I could didn't have to connect to WiFi every time I wanted access from my phone.
I love this camera. The setup was fairly easy except I felt like a sweaty pretzel at some times while contorting my body to push the wires into hiding places around my car. There was an excessive amount of wire leftover from the back camera. I have a traverse so was worried about that. It was easy to setup the camera. I did not like that I had to use the memory card that came with the dash cam, because I wanted a larger storage space. However, it honestly doesn't matter, especially if I download the videos. The dash cam is very user friendly. It took a minute to get used to navigating the dash cam features, but was easy to learn. What I don't like is that to connect to the camera you have to connect to its Wifi EACH TIME. I was under the impression I could always connect to it. It may be an option when I hard wire, but it is frustrating. To download I have to reconnect to the RedTiger WiFi each time. It only takes a few minutes, but I bought this thinking I could access the camera from the app at any time. I still love the camera. The three views in great. Do I need the interior? No, but this option was on sale. I feel more secure when driving because I will have the camera for insurance purposes. The picture is very clear and you have options for the views on the dash cam. The dash cam does turn off after about a minute so it's not distracting while driving. I would definitely recommend this camera. ... show more

It is extremely easy to set up and the videos are helpful. Great target price. Picture quality and audio are fantastic. On the Home Screen you can actually see the three cameras (front, Incab, and rear. If you are looking for a dash camera definitely give this a look or two.
