Luckily I didn’t buy this as a gift bc the package was torn and smashed but put inside a hard sided box. No way did this happen during shipping. Anyway. Baby loves the toy. He grabs it and enjoys chewing on it. Hard time keeping it from dog! It’s expensive but he loves it.

Initially, I thought it looked like a chew toy for dogs, but our baby absolutely adores it. Unfortunately, we lost the original one we were gifted, so I ordered a replacement immediately. Sophie is easy to clean and has multiple points for chewing, which provides excellent gum stimulation. It’s clear why this toy has been legendary for over 60 years. I love the material of this giraffe. I try to limit how much plastic and toxic materials my infant is exposed to. However, with all natural toys, no chemicals means potential for mold and bacteria growth. There’s really no way to clean this toy without accelerating mold growth. Within 2 weeks of occasional use, mold spores were visible all over it. I would probably buy again, but spending $100+ a month on a tether toy is a little silly. ... show more
