This toy is terrifying to look at. It appears as though so many things could accidentally come off and choke and kill your baby, but we have had this for nearly a year and our granddaughter plays with it very regularly (mostly in her car seat) and nothing has come off yet. She is not gentle, and finds it great fun after she has played with it and chewed on it a while, to throw it down between her car seat and the car door with much gusto.
