UPDATE: still love this jeep. Have been using it for almost a year now, it’s gone camping and places I’m sure most battery toys wouldn’t survive, but the thing powers through! Great deal, get it you won’t be dissatisfied. ORIGINAL: I love this jeep! I wanted a battery powered jeep for my sons second birthday and spent ages looking online before deciding to buy this one. Reviews were 50/50 but I decided to give it a chance and I am SO glad I did. The good: it came super quick, was easy to put together, is solidly built (no flimsy pieces), goes fast and goes everywhere! We’ve taken it over grass, dirt, snow, rocks, and down streets and it works perfectly. Battery life has been great on it, I always keep it stored in the garage after using it and plugged in over night to charge up. The remote has amazing range and can get pretty far before signal gets lost. The only two cons, if you could call them that, were that after five months of having this jeep, the steering motor went out and I couldn’t get it to work with the remote. Manually it worked, but remote wise it didn’t. However, I contacted the company and they got back me to asap and are sending me the pieces to fix it for free and have already shipped it, which blew my mind. Amazing customer service, especially given the fact I’ve had the Jeep for so long at this point. The only other minor con is the seat belt straps are a little funky, might be just my son but they fit him odd, however i haven’t had an issue with not using them with him since there’s different levels of speed you can choose to drive the Jeep at. Dude… the battery in this is unbelievable. I had my kid drive along side me for a 5k trail run and it didn’t even use half the battery. How’s that possible! With that said, it is not fast - I had to keep my pace down, but it’s still a run, and spending quality time with my kiddo. Also - the remote control is amazing. *chefs kiss* The 4x4 performance is great - we took it out n some mud/snow and she didn’t get stuck in the yard.     • Not what I expected
These cars are awesome. I bought one for my son and daughter but they were able to ride together which was nice since the second one is delayed. I bought another brand, the pego whatever it was and it was absolute trash. No working lights, just a power connector and only 2 wheels that spin. Needless to say my standards were set pretty low for this one but I was shocked. All 4 wheels have a functional motor and all the stickers are already attached, not perfect but they’re on there. The remote works excellent and was fun to help the kids learn the car, speed was excellent even in the grass although like others have said I plan on upgrading the battery. The built in speaker and key was way cooler then I expected and the kids really love that it’s their own car and really feels like it. Other brands have no comparison which is sad because this is made in china and the others are in the US which isn’t typically the way I like to make my purchases but this thing is worth every penny. Very well made and feels very durable, again in comparison to the higher priced other models made by other manufacturers. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I had the charger missing and the company had it sent to me very quickly so they have good customer service. The car drives great and had decent power. The only complaint I have is the battery life is not long on full power. It was easy to assemble and my kid loves it.

Bought this for my 3 year old. Didn't even have it for 6 months and the parental remote to it broke!!! The car came to a complete stop in the middle of crossing the road while my child was in it!!! Originally we thought the batteries needed to be changed but found it VERY scary that it gave no warning. Got home, changed the batteries, still did not work. So, we counldnt use the remote for it which was the number one selling point for this product!!! Then, soon after the tires refuse to turn! My husband went to find out how to fix it and he discovered the steering wheel wiring completely came apart!!! We tried fixing it but it never worked the same again. The car is completely garbage now after only 6 months!!! DO NOT BUY! ... show more

    • Beyond my expectations

A few complaints I was worried about were the turning radius and steering wheel installation. These complaints didn't come empty handed, the turning radius is humorous and to install the steering wheel I had to drill out the hole a bit and The instructions for the wheel alignment could have been better too. NOW with all this being said.. This bad boy is a beast! We are so happy to have gotten this for our kids. 4 wheel drive, lights, radio, and a remote control for this price is insane. It looks good and works great. I was worried it was too good to be true at the price point but wow they knocked it out of the park with this one. Why all this did take almost two and a half hours to put together and a whole night for the battery to charge this is one of the best purchases to date for my toddler it allows him to have the drivable car as well as he loves holding the controller and driving himself around with that it allows us to be able to take him on walks in it and when crossing streets all around a blast for parents and children alike 10 out of 10 recommend amazing value does get surprisingly fast sometimes hard to keep up with when going on a walk ... show more

I like the power of this ride on versus others we have used- our driveway is uphill and my daughter can go up and down like ten times before it starts to struggle. Seems to charge quickly.
