I've had this in use for 5 days. It's labeled as a wall clock but I have it sitting on a tabletop which also works perfectly. It's a completely black rectangle which helps the red characters stand out. Setting the date and time via the remote is very easy. So far it's been keeping good time. I leave the brightness right in the middle which works well for both day and night in the room that I have it. The only thing I don't care for is the "auto dst" illuminated between the colon. It's somewhat distracting when looking at it. I liked the rest of the clock so I cut a small piece of electrical tape and covered it up. Being that the face is so black, the tape really can't be seen and it cleans up the clock making it easier to read at a glance. ... show more

I was a bit surprised at how challenging it was to find a decent digital clock. Just the clock with hours, minutes AND seconds. The seconds were important to me. So many options with temperature, weather, tons of bells and whistles, but I didn't want to pay for all of that. I just wanted a simple clock at a reasonable price (there are the higher end ones of course, but I thought they were too pricey). This one works great. Super easy to setup, very clear to read. I do wish the size of the seconds in the display was the same as the hours and minutes, but I can work with that. The remote is pretty nice too and has the option of counting up or down. This is a great clock. It is easy to read and put up on the wall makes it seen from all over the room. The lights are able to be bright or you can turn them down so they aren't bright.
